If you are going to be doing a lot of CAD work, go with something like the Quadros. They are intended for 3D design, where as graphics cards like this are not. There are features that are active on the Quadro cards, that aren't on the Geforce cards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This has more than one question going on it seems and very broken sentence formation. If your asking anything about the GTX 970 its a great card and will operate CAD/3D fantastic. As for monitor support it will function with up to 4 as far as EVGA website says. As for free upgrades , LOL , Nothing is free in life.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For Cad a 970 would be more than enough. But it's up to you. But a 970 is a very powerful GPU in compute performance. It's almost as good as a professional graphics card. It will also run up 3 displays just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't use 3 monitors, how ever this card would likely work fine for cad/3d work. I use the EVGA 4gig model for 2 monitors and use lightwave, photoshop, and Unreal engine all up at the same time how ever your mileage may very for your application. Please note that I'm also running 2 1440 monitors NOT 4k monitors if your looking to use 4k monitors you would likely want to step up to the 980 with a bit more VRAM. Btw as far as I am aware Best buy does not offer free upgrades. I don't know of many that do for video cards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure what free upgrades you're talking about, and most of the time, no they don't. This card would be plenty for AutoCAD and a 3 monitor setup assuming they're 1080P monitors. You could probably get away with a gtx 960 with 1080P. But if you're using 1440P or 4k monitors, you're going to need a 980 or better.
