The freezer is a great size . It's not too large or too small. I like the lighted feature. The freezer unit itself is noisier than any I have ever had.

The GeForce GTX 970 from NVIDIA is an excellent choice for gamers looking for a powerful and affordable graphics card. With its affordable price tag, the GTX 970 offers impressive performance metrics that can handle the demands of modern games. Although it may be currently difficult to find in retailers, it is worth the search. For optimal performance, using two GTX 970 cards in an SLI setup is recommended. The PNY GTX 970, while a basic card with a simple blower-style heatsink and reference clock speeds, sacrifices acoustics for better cooling. However, it does have some design flaws that affect thermal efficiency. With two 6-pin power inputs and a backplate similar to AMD cards, it provides a range of connectivity options, including DVI, mini DisplayPort, and mini HDMI connectors. Overall, the GTX 970 delivers impressive performance at an affordable price, making it a great choice for gamers.

I purchased this card to upgrade my dell xps 8700.....My dell has 16 gb memory and a i7-4790.....I installed the card so easily....A bit big but it fit....I had to upgrade my power supply from a 400w to a 600w......The first game I tried was Metro 2033 Redux.1920x1080.....All high settings and the game ran as smooth as silk....Not one hiccup at all.....The card is super quiet...I cant even tell my tower is running its so quiet...... This card is sick.....And so is my dell xps 8700

I bought a pair of these to run in SLI to replace my aging 275 GTX's. I am extremely pleased with their performance. And as an added benefit they use significantly less power to run. Compared to my GTX 275's these cards are quiet and run a lot cooler. Just a note for anyone who plans on running these in SLI on an EVGA X58 SLI board you will need to change the Memory Low Gap setting in the Bios from Auto to 3G for the board to boot with both cards installed. If this setting is not changed you will end up with and endless reboot cycle before you get into windows.

I was looking to upgrade my existing older system (Gateway I5 2320 with a GTX 760), hoping to extend its life for a few more years and be able to play some more recent games. Much to my surprise, installing this card has done just that - I am able to now play GTA V on high settings at a consistent 60 FPS... even able to play Ark on high settings consistently hitting 35+ FPS. Got the card on sale and also got a free game with it (Rainbow Six Siege - which also runs at 60 FPS). If you are looking for an amazing card at a great price point, then this is the one for you... so grab this on sale and spend the rest of your $$$'s on the Steam holiday sale and get some of the newer AAA titles at amazing discounted prices. Good luck and happy gaming!

    ATI/AMD fanboy no more.

Before this card purchase I was almost exclusively ATI or AMD video cards. My last Nvidia card was a BFG GeForce 9800 AGP 512MB. It was an ok card but I wasn't terribly impressed by it. I was more into the ATI All-in-Wonder cards because I liked the added feature of video capture built into the card. Sadly they don't make those anymore so I had to get a separate card for that. My past ATI and AMD cards are the ATI Radeon HD 3850, AMD Radeon HD 6870, and finally the R9 270X 4GB version. Tell you the truth I am very impressed with the GTX 970. Grant it that it is about $150 more but you get what you paid for. It uses about the same amount of power as my old R9 270X but it was a crazy high performance boost compared to my old card. Minimal I get about a 30% performance boost. I get the same frame rates in Batman Arkham Origins with the Physx on as I do with the R9 270X with the Physx turned off. Don't even bother trying to do Physx off the CPU, it just becomes unplayability slow. With the Physx turned off its like double or triple. (I had Vsynch on and forgot to do a benchmark with it turned off on the R9). Some people might be complaining that this card really has only 3.5GBs of video memory with .5GBs reserved for low level tasks. To be honest, if you play only in 1080P you will not even notice the .5GBs. The only time you will notice is if you start playing your games in 4K and try to do ultra settings. Some people said they were getting corrupted game play or crashing. But I can assure you that it was probably because they were trying to tap into that .5GBs for the low level tasks. I saw a video of a guy using this card with GTA V in 4K and got it to play very nicely. He had to play around with the settings and set the shadows to smooth but got it to play in the low 60s to 70s with medium settings. Would I recommend this card. Yes. I find it a big improvement over my R9 270X and now I have Physx.

    Great card @ 1080p

This card is a beast at 1080p. I'm able to run most, if not all, next-gen games @ high-ultra settings on 1080p and pull at least 45 fps. Card also has great OC'ing potential; mine ran 1.4 GHz right out of the box. Now it's running between 1.4 - 1.5 GHz under load. Fans are a bit on the noisier side, but they work and my card rarely exceeds 65 C. All-in-all, I definitely recommend this card. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The model they sell on here is outdated. I know because the P/N on the newest models on EVGA's website end with '3975-KR' while the card they sell on here ends with '3979-KB'. Difference between the two is that the new ones use the ACX 2.0+ as opposed to the older ACX 2.0. Main differences are that they added a cooling plate for the MOSFET and they upgraded from a 4+2 to a 6+2 power phase. I'd highly recommend buying a 970 from their official website, but in the event that you have already purchased the 970s here, EVGA will allow you to send in your 970 in exchange for the newer models that are cooled by the 2.0+. Just make sure your card was purchased after 2/28/2015, otherwise your might not be valid for this program.

All I can say is games now all work at good settings (Max on most games). Its not the latest its not the greatest but its good enough and Price vs performance this is the card you want! The 980 cards cost $600 why bother when this card will do the job! The bonus of rainbow Six Siege was also a good one. Please note I'm not running 4k monitor that may push you to bump up to the 980 but for what I need this is the the best option. No complaints here!

If your running 1080p like most people are, this card will run everything currently out. I play Witcher 4, everything maxed and get clean play with zero lag at 144hz. When this card drops in price eventually to the $200ish than I am getting a second for SLI. SLI beats the mighty Titan cards!
