Customers are satisfied with the GeForce RTX 2080 XC Ultra Gaming card's performance, especially its high frame rates and excellent graphics in games, even at high resolutions. Many appreciate its effective cooling system and quiet operation, although some find the size and price to be drawbacks. The ray tracing capabilities also receive positive feedback. Absolute bull of a graphics card

Was lucky enough to start looking for an nvidia gpu (got a g-sync display) after the Supers came out, so managed to get this at $650. Before I was using a GTX 970 at 1440p so it was struggling, now with this 2080 I can get 140 FPS in multiplayer COD MW which was also included with this card. EVGA knows how to put together a video card, was my first EVGA product and pleasantly surprised! All in all an amazing purchase.

I was able to reach max settings on all video games with 75-100+ FPS. World of Warcraft has Vertical Sync off. On FPS games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare its exceptionally fast without bottlenecking. Nice upgrade from SLI 770 GTX 4GB by Gigabyte. Remember to use Nvidia GeForce Experience to maximize this graphic card full potential or more by customizing your game settings afterward to fit your need.

I was a bit skeptical on buying it because it was expensive but I bought it because I was ready to take a leap and try a top of the line card and man is it nice. I have it paired with an i7 9700k cpu and they really do make gaming so much better. Glad I purchased but sad it dropped in price less than a week after purchasing.

Even if Raytracing isn’t perfect it’s still a good step forward in tech that will improve games in the future. I haven’t tried this feature out yet but this card is a BEAST at everything else. I haven’t OC’ed it or anything and every game I play is over 150 FPS except gtav. It’s cool, quiet, looks good (I still would rather have the white gigabyte card) and the leds do cool stuff too. No problems after a month. It is expensive but all new release stuff is. A 1080ti was 1200 a few months ago lol.

This card is great. However, in all honesty it performs exactly like a gtx 1080ti, with the wonderful addition of the rtx. If you’re on the fence about getting this and you have a 1080ti please don’t upgrade, you won’t notice a difference in fps, it’ll be there, but so minuscule that you’ll hate yourself for upgrading. It’s really more of a sidegrade with added benefit of rtx. Now if you’re moving to a 2080ti, then you will absolutely feel the difference. Back to this specific gpu, it’s one of the better 2080s by a long shot. If you’re worried about sagging definitely pick up a support bracket bc it sags just a bit. In short, great card, very nice thermals and very quiet. And as always, can’t beat that evga service.

My review factors in the price and performance compared to previous generations. Overall I think it's a great video card, performance is better than previous generation but the price has gone up too. So as long as you are aware of this, it's generally a good purchase.
I like how the heatsink is bigger, but that means this video card uses 3 slots. This video card is noticeably cooler, max temps was around 62C and stays fairly quiet.

Great Card For 1440p

For what it is worth, I have a Liquid Cooled Intel 8700, 16GB of RAM, MSI z370 Gaming Plus MoBo, and an EVGA 850w GQ PSU. I have never in my life experienced something this powerful in a computer. Being happy with this card is an understatement. I fun Battlefield V with this setup on mostly High/ Ultra with Medium Raytracing and run an easy 60 fps. On 1440p. 4k works on High but not with DXR. CSGO, I'm around 400+ fps on my settings which are a mix of high/medium on 1080p. Idle temps are roughly around 50-60 and under load, I don't see it go over 71 c. If you've been debating on upgrading between this and a 1080ti, I truthfully do not regret going with a 2080 over a 1080ti. The DXR stuff really is awesome and I'm excited to see other games integrate it later in 2019. Very, VERY happy with my purchase. Make sure you pair it with a good monitor!

So I have been trying to hold off on writing a review for some time so I could play with the card and see what it could handle/ do and how everything looks on some graphic intense games. So far I am not disappointed. So here is a breakdown to why I recommend it.
1) Performance: Because I also like to stream I try my best to keep up with the new games coming out and having a steady stream is important to me. So far running games such as PUBG and APEX (popular FPS currently) I haven't notice a drop below 60 fps during game play. A match from start to finish has been a smooth ride. on the other side of the spectrum I heavily mod Skyrim and the Witcher 3. Very high graphic games (post Modding with Skyrim) and I have yet to run into any clipping or other issues with rendering objects issues you would see in this game with my much older card. I currently have 4 monitors connected to the card. while one plays the game, another manages the stream, one has the stream open for me to notice any performance issues, and the fourth lets me manage any other media platform i'm also using. to date I have not notice an issue with all this running at once, and the fans on the card are very quite IMO.
2) Upgrade: I have been rocking a GTX 980 for about 4-5 years and I am able to tell the deference easily with the new upgrade. As I just noted, everything is running smoother than before even with some heavily modded games. HOWEVER because I was back in the GTX 900 series I fell that anyone else at this level or lower should make the Jump to the RTX 2080. Simply because I don't try to keep up with the newest and coolest thing that just came out. when I make the purchase for a component such as this i try to keep it for as long as i possibly can. if you are currently in the GTX 1000 series spending the money honestly right now doesn't seem to be justified just yet. I say this because this time around we are not seeing crazy outstanding performance increase from the 1080's to the 2080's. Unless you have the cash burning a hole in your pocket, you may want to wait till something new is released or Ray Tracing becomes more of a thing (i'm betting on it but i could be wrong).
3) Investing: This plays a little bit off the last part, Ray Tracing. I honestly believe this is going to be brought into play sooner than others may expect (although I could be wrong). until recently Nvidia only had what they developed and to showcased last year what the possibility of what Ray tracing could do. however just recently using Unreal engine a stunning short video with ray tracing inside of it came out. diving deeper into it i found they added the support for Dx12 ray tracing, and will be releasing this for development soon. With them moving forward with it i felt it was the right investment for me to get a 2080 rather than a cheaper 1080.
In conclusion, This is a great card. the price may be high but I plan to keep my card for the next 4-5 years at the least. if you are currently rocking a GTX 1000 series, honestly hold off till the end of the year or maybe the first quarter of 2020, because your card should be fine until something better with ray tracing actually comes out. (just because its released soon doesn't mean it we'll have a new game overnight) and hopefully further in the year the price will drop for the 2080's.

For me this was a major upgrade. I wanted something to work with either 1080 or 2550x1440 for my MMRPG settings. I have maxed out all settings for WOW and almost all settings for The Witcher. Even in crowded areas or during raids I almost never drop below 70-80 fps. The fan stays cool and though the new 16G Radeon just came out I think this still out performs it. You won't be sorry to purchase this as you wont have to upgrade for the next 5 years easy.

Performs as expected. This is a true high end graphics card. Plays everythingive tried at very high quality beyond 1080p. 1440p is absolutely no problem. Ultra quality inn 1440p is a given. Some games will run 60 FPS in ultra 4k. Some you have to tone down a little but the 4k looks amazing. This card is a thick card but pairs well with cheap q300l case. Also running on matx b450.

Very good upgrade from 1070 but it definitely comes with a high price tag. I bought this car mainly to play PUBG with my 2k monitor. I get around 90 to 130 FPS which I am satisfied with. Only thing to complain is that led light did not work and I had to call EVGA and I had to download and install a program to get it working. I thought that LED lighting can get better.

This card is amazing. I'm coming from a 1060, 3gb card. It's quiet even when the fans are ramped up. It runs cool, averaging between 65c-70c on all games at max settings. Time will tell how it holds up.

So far runs everything at least 60fps at 2560 x 1440 on ultra settings. Paired with a g-sync monitor at 144hhz this thing is a beast. Ray tracing looks great in Metro Exodus.

I would recommend purchasing the “Black” edition and using EVGA’s step-up program (within 90 days) to pay the difference to purchase the 2080ti Black edition.
I’m easily hitting 144 frames at 1440p (med/high settings) on Apex Legends. It scored 11k in Time Spy.
Pro tip: Use MSI Afterburner to overlock it as the EVGA software is buggy. I hit +800 memory and + 120MHz stable.

Great card that isn't crazy with 3 fans. The X1 software is pretty good, offers a lot of flexibility if you want to overclock, or keep it in check if the weather gets pretty hot. Would probably recommend a 2070 for most people doing 1440p/4K, 2080 is more for if you're doing 4K mostly

I'd read about the overheating problems with some of the 2080 cards and read that this Ultra card had extra cooling. Well it's certainly a lot larger in the cooling dept than other options out there and I haven't had a single problem with it. The performance is very good on benchmarks too.
