What could be better for gaming?

TLDR: Pros: Small From Factor, maxes out 1080p monitors, not noisy underload Cons: None so far I use this in my rig, that I play games and stream from my main gaming computer. The computer sits in my den attached to an older Samsung 55 inch 3D television. I had a GTX650ti that was startting to fail and one day the computer wouldn't start. I bought this as a replacement. The 3rd gen core i5 and 8 gigs of DDR3 ram I have in it make for a decnet gaming experience, but now I don't have to stream from another PC to have modern games at maxed stats run on this computer. I like this card so much I will probably swap it out for the GTX970 in my main rig. Another positive thing about it is that the smaller form factor makes it fit perfectly in the smaller cae in my den. I don't have a 4K tv or monitor and cannot state this cards perfromance there.

    Exactly what I need

I'm learning 3D imaging with Daz Studio. My current 750Ti has too little RAM and too few CUDAs. I'm waiting for the 2080Ti to come down in price. So this is perfect. It more than doubled the render speed, and increases greatly the number of props I can put into a scene without overloading the GPU's RAM. It runs very cool, at least in my system. It's extremely quiet. Exactly what I needed.

This meets the sweet spot of high performance/at a reasonable expense. Future proof/feature laden beyond this price point is for avid gamers that want tomorrow's performance today or the most demanding media pros and even those can respect this card's pedigree.

Fits great in my small aleinware X51 tower, it replaced my gtx 970, has more vram and faster. It runs at about 72c and fans run at 70percent no thermal throttling. Not to noisy, little on the warm side not bad for a bad airflow case.

My son built his own gaming computer two years ago. He requested this for Christmas. He plans on using it to upgrade his computer.

I've been wanting to upgrade my GPU since my old one was a few years old. I am entirely happy with this purchase. The drivers were already installed, so we didn't have to update them. I am able to run newer games now, and able to play some of my more intensive games as well. It's not a top of the line GPU, but it suits my needs just fine.

Unless you're trying to play your games all the way cranked up in 4k this card should be all you need. Runs all games I tried it on in close to highest settings on my 5 year old PC.

A nice upgrade to the GTX 960. One of the best FPS per dollar graphics cards on the market right now.

Super good card for the money. I originally had the Evga GTX 750 Ti SC and this is now its big brother. The GTX 1060 SC runs quiet, the best card from the EVGA 1060's line up and better than most other 1060's from other companies (if not all). I overclocked it a bit (look at the pictures for details) with EVGA Precision XOC. I have the fan turned on to 65% (but you can have it on automatic and have the fan not running at all if the GPU isn't being put under much load). I've done a lot of research before purchasing this version of the 1060. It's one of the best priced 1060's, has low power consumption, super quiet, doesn't take much room in the case (so can work for most builds), and is overclocked out of the box so if you don't want to mess with settings you don't have to. I am really impressed with the power to price ratio. It should run current games on ultra at 1920x1080 resolution 60+ fps. I'm so ready for Battlefield 1 in Ultra :)

Well I didn't buy this at Best Buy, I got it on amazon a few months ago. I would recommend getting the 'keepa' extension for firefox because it lets you set price alerts and lets you see price history as well. It also tells you when it's in stock. Anyway as far as the card goes it's been working great. I've played through the new doom game and wolfenstein new order as well as borderlands 2, no mans sky and a few others. This is the first time i've bought a graphics card for 15 years and I'm happy with it. I bought it over other 1060's because EVGA has great customer service (i've read) and I wanted a short card for a mini-itx case. Turns out the case I bought could have held a really long card but oh well. Here is my setup: Intel Core i5-6600K 6M ASUS Z170I PRO GAMING CORSAIR 16GB (2 x 8GB) Vengeance LPX EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SC Intel 512GB 600p Series SSD CRYORIG H7 Tower Cooler Thermaltake SUPPRESSOR F1 Mini ITX 2 x Noctua NF-R8 Chasis fans Tuniq TX-4 Thermal Compound

Being a builder and knowing what I know about PCs, Servers and the like, I had to comment on EVGA and the only review on this product. I'd also like to say that with the exception of only (1) and I can absolutely attest to this fact, every EVGA card I've ever used in a build FAILED at some point. In this over priced mess the fan stopped. DO NOT let a sales rep talk you into EVGA because it might work for him or the EVGA Marketing Rep is shoving the rhetoric out hard that month. Buyer beware, you will be sorry.
