Customers are saying

Customers love the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10GB XC3 ULTRA GAMING graphics card for its exceptional performance, great price, and high frame rates in games. Many appreciate its size and quiet operation, along with the excellent warranty. However, some users noted that the card can run a bit warm and that the power consumption is relatively high. A few customers also mentioned concerns about the LHR version.

Cheapest non-FE model of 3080, little bit of RGB, no more red lip. EVGA also has the best-ish customer service and warranties. Performs beautifully, pushing 144Hz at 1440p on high settings. Pretty sure you'll get consistent 60hz on high (not ultra) on 4K. Not quite at 144hz at 4K but we'll shell out for the rtx 5000 series for that. Buy it instantly if in stock.

Nvidia Ampere based GPU’s are very capable cards with the 3080 being the consumer flagship capable of 4K/60 gaming often with maximum visual settings. The EVGA is a no frills 3 fan design that is quiet while game, but has thermal issues resulting in higher temps than some other partner cards. I ultimately was able to snag another partner card in the 12GB variant for what I paid for this model and I’m much happier with the new one. If you have the time to undervolt and set a custom fan curve you’ll likely get some better results as far as temps.

The most affordable, no-frills 3080 you can find. Fits in most cases, and it's close to MSRP. Great value if you can get your hands on one. Plus it's an EVGA, so it has the best warranty.

I don’t why other people give bad review on this card? In my views, this thing is beast! Too bad EVGA have to give up the production. Perhaps in the future they may continue the production.

This card is great, and price isn't obnoxious like some board partners. I saw as much performance increase going from 3070ti FE to this 3080 as I did upgrading previously from 3060ti FE to 3070ti FE. The GDDR6X runs hot, but the stock pads are generally able to handle it. A repad will help, but is not necessary if you are uncomfortable with performing it. My only complaint is that the interior packaging is a bit flimsy, the card is safely ensconced in a plastic clamshell, but the other odds and ends just kind of rattle around in there. I would have preferred the foam packaging that EVGA uses for the FTW3 version.

Good, still running games with FPS with this one. It doesn’t have a lot of RGB only the name and that’s good for me.

This 3080 exceeds the advertised clock speeds but benefits from a bit of undervolting to keep temps under 80 degrees with fans at 60%. Handles MSFS 2020 with a HP Reverb 2 headset great with high settings. Compact, and tasteful RGB.

The card is great. Runs a bit hot out of the box but I undervolted slightly and it never goes over 70c now even after gaming for a while. Before undervolt I was hitting 78-81c, which isn’t too bad but I didn’t like seeing the temps that high. I’m also running a 5800x so the case heat builds up fairly quick. Overall the card is great, ultra settings on every game with very high frame rate. Smaller card, I picked up a support bracket but I don’t think it’s necessary. Also, the card is quiet it doesn’t make any annoying noises and the fans aren’t really heard until after they’ve hit 70-80% speeds. Great card, thank god for the price drops.

Upgraded from a 3070 and found it to really bump up my fps at 3440 by 1440p. In The division 2 ultra setting, I got 71 fps on the benchmark with OC'ing the 3070 as high as I could. This 3080 got 98fps right out of the box (haven't messed with OC'ing yet). Really happy with my purchase... only took me 10 months to get it! From pictures, I wasn't expecting this card to really look great in person, but I think it looks much better in-person and the mild ARGB looks great without being too much. My card says its around 72c when being hit hard but the hot spot gets up to 83c and then I see some mild dips in speeds. Might look into undervolting to get that hot spot temps down a little.... Still fast as heck though! This is my first EVGA GPU, I usually like MSI's as I have never had an issue with those gpus. But since this was the cheapest AIB 3080 out there, and since iv heard only good things about EVGA's RMA process and customer service, I am happy to try them out. Best Buy has actually been doing really good with their online ordering, they check your account before selling you the gpu to help real people get cards and not bots. seems to work well, if you happen to be at a computer when they have a drop.
