Great Upgrade When On Sale.

The card is used in both Windows and Linux and installed flawlessly under both environments. The card is significantly quicker (about 20 fps average, I play mostly sim's) than the GTX 960, yet maintains similar thermal characteristics. If you could find this on sale, and have a few points to cash in, It is a good option.

A beast of a card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Elegantly and solidly designed, and really as fast as anyone could practically want for a single card solution for PC gaming at an "affordable" price (if $400 is your idea of high-end affordable.) You could pay $200 more for maybe 20%-25% more speed but even a single Titan X or 1080 can be taxed at 4K. For all resolutions below 4K it's a joy, and can run acceptably at 4K if you tone things down a bit depending on the game.
