I decided to go with this one instead of the 1080 because of the price and I'm very happy with my purchase! I'm a photo and video editor mainly, but also an occasional gamer and I haven't seen a game so far that this card wouldn't handle at full res.

There is almost no games out there you cannot play in high resolutions with this graphics card. I personally connected it to a 4K 40 inch TV and made it my gaming monitor. I play most of the games in the highest settings without any problems.

I've been a gamer since 1979 and remember when video cards started to become separate from mobos and then once OpenGL came it changed the graphics world by storm and it hasn't stopped. I went up the chain from 1050ti to this and this has the smoothness and power with all the bells and whistles on. I have ryzen7 CPU, 24" Gsync Dell combo. Very nice indeed.

This card runs over 1900mhz right out of the box. Stays cool below 70 Celsius even when gaming with maxed out settings. Card looks awesome with its led lights all around and comes with a backplate unlike the black edition. Great card great buy.

Easy to install, just a pain to get all the plastic off of it lol

This card is great for the price and I haven't had any issues with it. I play battlefield in 1440p at ultra and get 60 fps great card for any new game coming out. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a new graphics card

I have a very sub par rig with a AMD A10-6800k and when I put this card in I was instantly able to play a lot of games at max graphics like Heros of the Storm, FFXIV, WOW. As soon as I upgrade to a Ryzen I will be totally happy.

Best Buy matched Amazon pricing which is a plus for me. This card plays most games on high or ultra resolution. For me I didn't see the value in paying way more for the 1080. But I'm just a casual gamer that enjoys great graphics.

All games usually play at 60 fps at 2560x1440p resolution on ultra settings so far less than a handful of games we'll run in 4k on Ultra settings which are Mad Max & Alien Isolation. I suggest Building A SLI setup.

I was using the 1050 before and it was a good graphics card as well, but I felt like I was pushing it a little bit to run three 50 inch monitors, so I decided to go with this one, the graphics are unbelievable.

This was my first experience with an EVGA product. It looks really nice, and is surprisingly quiet for a superclocked card from the factory. Overclocking is easy to do and the overall experience is great.

Fast, and amazingly powerful for the price. This replaced my two 970's in SLI and I couldn't be happier. The single 8 pin connector saved so much cable room, I was able to eliminate 3 pci-e cables in my case.

This is a great purchase! Performance is above par compared to similar cards, installation was a breeze, and the price was great! Really fantastic bang for your buck. Build quality was excellent too!

I play all the newest games and now set all the details to ultra; my FPS are always over 100. This card was simple to install and setup. I will be exploring the 3D capabilities of this card soon.

Upgraded from a GTX-460, and not looking back. This thing makes pushing out CAD technology a piece of cake. No more waiting 30m for an engineering display. Works great on my 4k Ultrawide as well.

Was able to price match on amazon for 390. It's paired with an i5 6600k. This card was exactly what I needed for 1080p gaming. I've had it playing on 1440p and it does the job pretty well.

This graphics card is fantastic. I had it price matched without a problem and for the price it was awesome. I've been wanting a 1070 since it came out and now that I have it, it's fantastic.

Very fast, a little loud but high FPS. Running on Windows 10 without any issues. BF4 gets 100+ FPS, ARK Survival Evolved on Epic settings gets 50 FPS easily. High recommend. Nvidia for life.

While this isn't quite as powerful as the 1080, it is far better when performance to cost is considered. It is probably overkill for 1080p resolutions, but about right for 1440p.
