If you're looking for a decent bargain for 1080p gaming then look no further. This card is a beast and is handling all modern games thrown at it. I went from dual GTX 670's in SLI to the 1070SC and so glad I did too. EVGA is a quality product that I've used for almost 10 years now with various builds. I highly recommended this card to any one who is looking for exceptional performance without breaking the bank for a 1080... and only getting a 20% increase in performance.

Great upgrade from my gtx970. I play games at 1440p and so far I can run them all at max settings with 40+ fps.

So being an AMD/ ATI forever I had a real hard time switching to this card. I wanted something that I didn't have to crossfire to get the performance I really really wanted. I went to this card after having 2 R7-360 overclocked and not being happy. Am I NVIDIA forever now moving forward? I can't say. What I can say is that I'm more than satisfied with this card.

I bought the Evga SC GTX 1070 as an upgrade from my RX 480-8GB card. I need a very strong GPU to use for X-Plane 11 at 1440p, which will humble even the best cards. The RX 480 was a great upgrade from my former GTX 960 4GB, but it still couldn't give me a consistent 30+ FPS at high settings. The 1070 allows me to get solid 40 - 60 FPS at near maximum settings, with UHD mesh and tons of add-on scenery and airports. Highly recommended.

Great graphics, works well. Easily installed, and a considerable upgrade to preovious graphics card.

I've been reading about all the new Nvidia high end cards that were coming out and I did plenty of research when looking to finally replace my GeForce 950. I decided on this Superclocked version of the 1070 as it was the perfect balance between overkill (the 1080) and not much better than my 950 (the 1060). I'm so glad I did! I have a 4K monitor and the picture from this card is stunning! I play games and everything from my old COD4 to the newest games are running at max res and sky high frames rates! The fan does make a touch more noise than the 950 did, but it only does so on the rare occasion when I have three or four graphic heavy programs running at once. During most times I don't hear a thing. Couldn't be happier with this purchase and I would highly recommend the 1070 superclocked to anyone who wants a cutting edge graphics card at an affordable price. BTW, the rep at my local Best Buy was terrific! He was able to answer all of my questions on this card and was very personable.

With Best Buy offering a birthday month 10% discount on an in store item (minus a huge restriction list) I knew what I needed to use it on- the most expensive part of the pc I was building. The card works great and is being used right now to watch some video on the other screen while I write this. Should I be paying more attention to this review? Meh. If it's what you want, there's no need for doubt. It works and works well!

Having years of experience with various graphics cards I can truely say that Nvidia cards are the best of the rest. This 1070 unleashes the power needed for today's gaming and graphics experience unlike anything you have seen before. Nvidia makes it simple to in stall and has an outstanding "GeForce Experience" software package to allow easy adjustments. No need to tweak it, it's "pedal-to-the-metal" right out of the box!

I like the 1070 and this was the cheapest in price but one of the highest in performance.

I bought this to use with my HTC VIVE. At the time of this review the 1070 is the strongest card available for less than $400. I did my home work and caught this card on sale. I am getting upwards of 150 fps on any bench mark I have thrown at it. Side note: It is worth checking EVGA's website for a firmware update to resolve a thermal issue with the fans not running fast enough to keep the temp down.

This card does all the way up to 4k and kick some serious butt. I couldn't be happier

BestBuy matched Amazon on this card; so I got it at a reasonable price. eVGA sent a thermal pad set after registering with them - haven't applied it yet, but card runs well and without running hot even without the pad set. Now to the card itself - FAST. Replaced a GTX680 and EVERY game now plays at the highest setting (on 1080p projector). Very pleased with purchase. This is a good card, good value.

This Card is amazing high performance easy to overclock and runs with low temps

Most will be expecting a review of picture quality and frame rates but I don't use this card for gaming. I have 2 of these cards and so far, I have used it to mine ethereum and decred. Overclocked to its max with MSI Afterburner and stable for 48 hours, I can push out an average 32Mh/s on ethereum and 1800Mh/s on decred using Claymore's dual miner. Hope this helps those who are interested!

I loved this video card when it was working, but it had some graphic glitch issues. I did everything I could think of to get it working, but suspected that I had some bad ram so I ended up returning it. A week later, it was discovered that this card along with many other manufacturers had problems with ram and too low of a default voltage. EVGA corrected the issue with a firmware update, but it was too late for me to test. I ended up getting their 1080 instead, but honestly, the real world performance of this card was enough, and my 1080 doesn't feel a whole lot faster to me, just cost me more. All in All, I'd buy this card again, especially knowing how quickly EVGA responds to issues once discovered. I just had some unlucky timing, but now it's all good to go for you future purchasers!

This video card is awesome! I get no coil whine either. There was an issue with overheating components, but EVGA sent out thermal pads that you can install over some components to conduct heat out better. This requires you to sign up on their site and request one. Benchmark time! Performance Test 9.0 3D Mark score: 9281 2D Mark score: 855 CPU mark (for reference): 10357

This card does a great job of handling games. It installed easy and it runs quiet.
