Had a 1060 6GB SSC, purchased for $259.99 a few months before I both this 1070 SC, when overclocked I was getting really good frames at 1080p in PUBG (before optimization) and no frame lag in Ark official servers. I had been comparing my FPS to a friend with a 1070 mini and he melting saying he was getting 40 to 80 frames higher than mine, so I got the 1070 SC thinking there would be noticeable FPS/performance increase... I never should have bought the 1070 SC. It is very limited in overclocking capabilities compared to the 1060 SSC which means that the 1060 SSC can be safely and stable when you overclock it to levels that are within 5 FPS of what this 1070 SC can do. The only thing this card now does is mine crypto, it does mine far better than the 1060 SSC just not when it comes to gaming.

I wanted to get a 1080 card but I think the savings in going with a 1070 these days was a good compromise for the prices. This was an upgrade of a 750TI and it made a huge difference.

Still playing at 1080p but this card maxes everything out at 1080p above 60fps. Im even using an older amd fx8350 and eveything is playing well above what i expected. Next upgrade is my cpu but if this gpu continues to push games so well i may not need to upgrade. Hopefully dx12 keeps my amd cpu going strong.

I wanted a card to replace the Radeon 6950 that I've been using for 4 years, and this is one of the best GTX 1070 cards on the market. The only negative is the price, but it's worth it for what the card can do in terms of performance, especially if you take full advantage of the card with a G-Sync monitor.

I've love evga always my go to for graphic cards. After I had upgraded my 2nd monitor to a 32 inch I needed a bit more power from my 1060 so I upgraded to the 1070 and it runs all the games I play on high detail as well as supporting my 2nd monitor and 4k tv great card for the price.

It works pretty well for current 3A game. If you are looking for good card for 1080P gaming.

I upgraded from GTX 1060 3GB and have seen substantial gains, especially in 1440p. With 1080p, you will run everything maxed at like 100-160 fps - ridiculous. The real gain is in 1440p; I'm hitting 60fps in GTAV & Tomb Raider with MSAA on with very high settings enabled. Great card.

This video card really helped to bump up my gaming computer. My video previous card was a few years old but still functional, I just wanted to modernize it a little bit. Just make sure you have an adequate power supply in your tower before the super easy installation of a new card.

Had a GTX 760 before this. Huge upgrade and handily runs anything I throw at it. VR capable of you are interested. This unit has not experienced the overheating issues some similar models have exhibited, although firmware updates since seem to have solved the issue universally.

I've always bought/used EVGA branded Nvidia cards, and so far none of them have failed me. This will run anything I've tried to throw at it so far. First tested with Ghost Recon Wildlands. 2k 144Hz at maxed out settings (Everything Ultra). Benchmark reported that it was using about 60% of vram memory available. Game runs with no stutter at all, framerate was always above 100. Excellent card, the 1080 is only ~100 bucks more, but the 1070 should be sufficient unless you're trying to do something like outputting multiple 4k screens.
