Fully modular is a very important feature, Not only easy installation, but also easy when I do clean up the hardware from dust. Many times we forgot that there are dust accumulated inside the PS. There are many power supply, cheaper, but their quality is not as good as EVGA. And with 1000 W, I am ready for future proof on doing SLI GTX 980 on my PC and several monitors.

Originally wanted the 850W G2, but it had been sold out for over a week. Decided to go to 1000W. Impressed with the quality of not only the power supply and cables, but even the packaging was top notch. You get a nice case/bag for the power supply (does anyone take the supply out of their PC and take it somewhere where they'd need this) and another one for all the cables you don't use. Installation was easy and this unit is much quieter than the old one.

Great power supply
