Exactly what I needed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to install a graphics card in my old desktop and I needed a simple power supply that could supply the wattage necessary to make it happen. This installed directly into my HP Envy Desktop in place of the stock power supply and everything plugged in directly and worked flawlessly.

EVGA Power Supplies = High Quality & Great Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been buying EVGA power supplies for the last 3-4 years now, exclusively. Why? Because I haven't had one fail on me yet! Keep in mind, I buy a lot every year, too! What I do is as soon as I take it out of the box, I use a can of air and blow out all my components for loose debris. I figure it helps. Can't hurt, right? Just for reference, I also have purchased other brands, but the last other brand was about 3-3.5 years ago. It was DOA and decided to never buy another brand again. Also, there are some other brands that are great as well, but they tend to be much more expensive. EVGA does an excellent job of providing quality at the best prices. They're very hard to beat! As for what to get? Their 600w power supplies will handle most gaming systems with a GTX 1060 equivalent or lower. Any more than that and you'd probably want a 700+ watt. You can find out what your video card recommends and then add some headroom so your power supply doesn't have to work as hard. Also, make sure your case always has plenty of cooling and clean power, preferably battery backup power. Your components will last much longer and have very few problems if any for a long time. There ya go! Buy EVGA power supplies and you'll be very happy you did! P.S. I bought several 600w when they had them on sale for $34.99 during Black Friday a couple of years ago. That might of been an anomaly, but $39.99-$49.99 is pretty easy to find around that same time. Enjoy!

Handles my system fine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently got a second-hand GPU (GTX 670) which necessitated an upgraded power supply. After many hours of careful price comparisons across major retailers, I was shocked to find that Best Buy had one for a comparatively great price-to-wattage ratio. Historically I remember BB to be on the high-end of prices, especially for specialized computer components... but perhaps they have changed tactics by now. At any rate, the PSU installed without issue and handles everything fine.

bang for buck; it has it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.FX [email protected], MSI R9 380 4GB, 24GB DDR3 1866, SSD, HDD, 4 case fans, Blu-ray R/W, Powers the system flawlessly for marathon gaming sessions. For the price (it was a hot deal) you cannot go wrong. And EVGA support is solid, should you ever have to use them. On that note: Do not forget to register the PSU on their website after purchase.
