    Good PSU for $40

Great power supply if you're able to get it for a whipping $39.99. I got this PSU when it was on sale and it was perfect timing when I bought it as I needed one for my new PC. It was 600w and it is good for future upgrades. Didn't need an 80+ Bronze efficiency so this was fine. All the cables necessary to plug in to my PC parts and it runs fine and quietly. Although I dislike the ketchup and mustard cables and the non modular part, but as $40 this EVGA power supply was a bargain. Now the price is $65 and there are other better alternatives here at Best Buy, so I don't quite recommend this PSU except when it's on sale for under $60. Overall, good power supply.

I've had this power supply in my computer for nearly 2 years & it's still work strong. My total power consumption is less than the 600W max output kisted. I've used multiple EVGA power supplies in desktop builds I've worked on & they seem to have better quality control VS say CORSAIR. I've actually experienced far more failing power supplies CORSAIR. The only other company I've used is Thermaltake which also failed after only a couple months. I would absolutely recommend EVGA.

I love EVGA and have never had a problem with their products. This is a great power supply and at 600 watts it covers 99% of the PC's out there. NO need to buy anything bigger for most gaming computers and definitely not for anything used for normal daily purposes. This power supply is quiet and runs great. No issues.

I replaced a non-80-plus 500W PSU that was clearly on its way out. It was old and didn't have the power I needed anymore - so I got this. Excellent power options, non modular. It's EVGA and I love them because they exceed my expectations every time.

Very good 80-plus rated power supply. The looks are very plain, but all of the cables are sleeved. Very quiet under load during gaming. If you're on a tight budget, this supply works well. You could do a LOT worse for $40-50. I dropped one star because the supply has a sleeve-bearing fan instead of a ball-bearing fan and the user guide is pretty much just a sheet of paper.

Very well priced non modular PSU, works perfectly, I run a 6850 Video card and a FX 6300 AMD chip...not even anywhere near the max rating of this device. it has 2 dedicated PCI-E (video card) plugs...in theory you can run 2 6-pin video cards.

I almost missed this one. Great price, and was a little more power than what I needed. All the cables are a good length. Has two old style IDE plugs. The others are SATA. If you have a lot of items requiring power, you may need more, but this worked great for me, and EVGA makes good stuff.

This unit was purchased as part of my motherboard and graphics card upgrade. The EVGA-80 had more than enough power to handle my new AMD motherboard and video card. Note: comes with ample cables to suite your PC build. Supper reliable. Very cost effective too.

I have purchased literally dozens of PC power supplies over the years. This is simply the best that I've seen. Looks solid, feels solid, very quiet, and features abundant connectors. The 600 Watt is more than enough for most units, considering manufacturers like HP, Dell, Lenovo only come with 300 or so watt. This is a standard power supply, and will not work with specific units such ad Dell OptiPlex 780 that requires slots at the top. You may need adapters to use on Lenovo desktops that use non-standard connectors, and may be too large for some HP units.

Well the price was right, Runs quiet, only complaint was I thought it was a modular PS because the salesman told me all the power supply's in their store where MODULAR and now I have a cluttered case

My old power supply was starting to sound like a jet engine so I needed to replace it and thought it would be good to get a more powerful one at the same time. This went into my HP Pavilion, no problems and it is almost dead silent. A really good purchase!

This is my first time building a PC, so I was hoping that nothing would go wrong with this since it isn't 80+ Bronze or above. After getting it, the packaging, instructions, and layout were all very easy to use. It was perfect for putting into my Micro ATX case, and I'm happy to report that it runs very smoothly and with no loud noise (at least the way I see it). This is a perfect starter power supply for those on a budget.

The only negative I can find concerning this PS is that I had to purchase a special connector for the internal dvd player in the PC. That is only because the dvd connector was non-standard. But the install was pretty-much a no-brainer, and it works like a champ. Once I find a video card my motherboard will support, I'll be a graphics champ. Plenty of power for whatever I want to do, and very reliable. I like EVGA products, and this PS is no exception.
