My 9 year old Inspiron 545mt had starting problems with startup. Press the power on buttons, the PSU motor would spin and then stop. Repeated pressing and eventually the power fan would catch in the unit would startup and work fine. The supply arrived within 3 days and was so easy to install, I was surprised. Only a cross head driver is needed. I had a bit of a problem positioning the cables as not to interfere with case air flow. The cables are very stiff, but flexible and do stay where you put them. This was addressed in the website info. I would recommend the semi modular or modular models. Then you only install the cables you need. The cost is a bit more was the reason I did not go that route. The instructions are clear and concise, with appropriate cautions. I would suggest wearing gloves you can work in. There are case edges and corners that can cut the hands. The system started up without any hesitation. I have run thru 100's of startups so far with no problems. I also have let the system run now for over 70 hours, monitored with a kilowatmeter. The recorded lowest power draw is 65 watts and highest is 185 watts. HWMonitor reports the PSU temp as 35 low, 50 high and 43 average degrees C At this point, I am very pleased with this EVGA PSU and would recommend it, or a model more suited to their system requirements, to anyone needing a budget priced PSU for their desktop PC. I rated it four stars because of the cables, which as I said, I knew about.

They make decent power supply units for the price. I have had good luck with them so far. Would be 5 stars if it were modular for this price

My old power supply had quit working and I found this 600 watt replacement in the gaming section at Best Buy. It is marketed as a budget model but it looks great. It has a very nice painted finish and fully sleeved cables for a neat (good looking) installation. It is energy efficient with an 80 Plus rating and the fan is powerful yet quiet. Finally this power supply comes with a standard 3 year warranty.

I bought this power supply to replace a replacement. It distributed the power well and can handle surges. It has connections for the old and new motherboards.

Works great for replacing another brand that died on me. Awesome price, quiet, cool, all the connections I need - and more than enough to power a 1070Ti plus 6 hard drives. Wish it was modular, but this thing is still a steal for the price.

Haven't had a problem with it so far. It's Great! And affordable I upgraded it from a 450W to this 600W for my GTX 1070. It handles it without any problem.

First off it’s in my HTPC (large case) other PS died so cable management wasn’t a big issue for me so not having modular cables on this PS was fine. Have had it working 24/7 for over a month and no issues. Great PS for the money.

I always buy EVGA power supplies these days. They're just rock solid in my opinion, and EVGA really stands behind their products. This power supply is a great little supply, and I have had no issues with mine. However, I traded up to an 850W because it just gets overpowered with today's high-end graphics cards and CPUs. Not a slight on the power supply...it delivers what it's asked to deliver and does it well. Perfect for a budget gaming PC with maybe a RTX 3060, or a desktop business PC where you don't tend to push the power limits.

Good value 80+ psu. Wouldn't pay more than $50, but anything less than that is totally worth it. Requires some cable management as it is not modular, but plenty of power for most rigs.

I normally use a different brand of PSUs, but, I had to get a business customer's PC back up and running after a failed PSU and this was positively reviewed and in stock at the time. I would have preferred a modular one, however, I was impressed with the fact that they sleeved all of the wires, which isn't very common at this price point. Installation was a breeze, and it worked exactly as it should. As of now, it has been in the PC for approx. a month and when I checked up with the user a few days ago he said it has been working flawlessly. Would definitely recommend this PSU as long as it meets your PCs wattage requirements.

After switching out some components in my computer, the power supply that came with the computer kept making awful fan noise and the computer kept crashing. It was time for a new power supply with more power. This 600W power supply did the trick. I have not had any problems with it since installing it. The fan is super quiet and I now have the power to add more components to my computer if needed. Note: Make sure that while removing your old power supply, you either label the wires attached to it or clip them together. Saves a lot of headaches when you switch to the new power supply.

Being a semi-modular power supply, I was worried about installation yet was confronted with a straightforward and easy to install experience. In aspects of capabilities 600 watts is plenty of power for the majority of desktop builds. The fan noise is noticeable but is not noticeable while wearing a gaming headset.

I've had EVGA power supplies before. I feel they are reliable and 600 watts is more than enough for regular desktop work and low intensity games. The price is good. It's been working well for me.
