Set it up for him but turns out nothing worked. I had to come over to check to see what was wrong and it needed to be updated. After 30 min of trying to figure out why it wasn’t working. I felt like someone that was not tech savvy would have a very difficult time setting up.

Not a 5 star just because I don't like the volume contols on the remote. Otherwise, Roku is the best choice. I am an Apple guy, but when my AppleTV unit were zapped by lightning I replace with Rokus. I also switched from cable to YouTubeTV - can't get that on AppleTV.

She was reluctant at first but now she loves the Roku. This version is also really nice because you can program it to control the tv volume.

I just want to watch free stuff and not spend much money. I normally watch antennae TV anyway, but sometimes can't get a signal.

We are a bit disappointed that the live TV option does not include the local stations that we like to watch. You can get the national news but not local.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I signed back up with Spectrum for tv service. 1 of our TVs is a fire tv & Spectrum app only works on Ruku unless you want to pay the monthly fee, taxes & equipment rental for one of their boxes. I was happy with it the 1st day or two, but then the Ruku remote started acting up & has to be unplugged & plugged back in each time the tv shuts off
