    Began malfunctioning after 6 weeks. Constantly loses video and audio output. Has to be rebooted every time the TV is turned on and every time the device wakes from sleep. I have to reboot the device several times a day. Really sorry I bought this.

      First, check for the latest update under your Settings menu to ensure that you are on the newest software version. Once updated, be sure to restart your device.

      You may want to double-check your signal strength as well as network connectivity can cause some of the issues you described. On your Roku, go to Settings > Network > Check connection. This will test the quality of the signal and also measure the speed of that connection, to be sure that your signal is strong enough.     Remote wireless will not Pair on initial setup

    After numerous attempts including resets on the main unit, batteries removed and reinserted, pushing the button for 5 seconds, blinking green light on the remote, the initial setup will NOT pair the remote with the main unit. Garbage waste of time.

    worked just fine until it locked up on me. tried every reboot, reset, trick to get it to work again. nothing loading but the bouncing roku logo. no longer returnable to best buy. stuck having to buy another one

      Hi there, thanks for taking a few moments to share these details with us. It sounds like you've tried multiple troubleshooting options and the outcome does not sound like typical behavior.

      When trying to perform a factory reset on the Roku device, please make sure that you hold down the reset button for at least 30 seconds regardless of what is happening on the screen. In addition, we highly recommend making sure that the device is plugged into a wall outlet and not powered by the TV USB port. You may also want to try utilizing a different HDMI port to see if that makes a difference.

      We always suggest using the included power cord, power adapter, and premium high speed HDMI cable from Roku for the best end experience.

    Purchase was fine BUT the delivery/install part was a nightmare. Maybe not the fault of Best Buy but you contract with the service provider so you should be aware of their issues and make the appropriate corrections.

    The remote does not work. I tried the batteries that came with it and I tried a second set of batteries, still would not work. I normally would recommend roku, but not on this purchase.

    SUCKS! not enough power from extension cord told to use wall outlet. Gimme a break! Make a power cord on the Roku that is effective!!!!! I have a TCL-Roku TV so it is not biased criticism.

      First, always be sure to use the HDMI cable and power cord cable that came included with your player as not all cables are created equally.

      The Roku Express 4K+ is designed to work work with any television with an HDMI connection. If you haven't already tried multiple HDMI ports on the TV, we'd also recommend trying a different TV in an attempt to isolate the issue.

    We bought another Roku because our old one kept shutting off and rebooting. As soon as this was out of its return period, the same thing started happening. I’m tired of the junk they out out.

    Everything seemed fine, then I kept getting a weird small window for EVERY app. Then there was a weird orange outline on faces and light image areas. changed HDMI w/ no luck.

      We'd recommend trying a different TV to see if the behavior continues. Additionally, the device can be plugged into your TV's USB port for power or a wall outlet. If you're currently using the TV as your power source, try plugging the device into a wall outlet instead.

    I purchased this so I could stream YouTube Live TV only to find that this service was unavailable on Roku, apparently because of a dispute between the parties. I returned it.
