Bought these surveillance cameras and had my brother-in-law install them for me. So far I have no complaints. Picture quality is very good during daylight hours and is ok during the night. I am happy with this purchase.

Easy to assemble if you know what you're doing but overall good product

This system is wired but setup was a snap. Wires were small and tucked easily behind the vinyl siding. There are also sensitivity settings for motion

I am not happy with the product as delivered and wish to return it. The wiring requirements are far too complex. I want to return it for a wireless surveillance system.

I bought this system for my house, but after two days I couldn't see the image on my tv. Bottom line I wouldn't recommend to someone.

easy to install. great picture day and night. great motion sensing and adjustment. you wont find a better camera system at this price.

I consider this a low cost entry level system , camera has excellent daytime HD viewing night time is also good however any bright light sorce like a car head or tail lamp or even refelection from a refelector will cause white out in the view , but I still consider night time viewing excellent on your smart device you can pinch to zoom. The system and DVR is basic and easy to set up you do need a internet connection. On the monitor there is very little adjustment other than viewing or 5 min play back , you need to configure on your smart device iPhone 7+ for me or computer , but better on a smart device , I actually have two 4 camera systems installed and view as one. The downside if your on wifi this all works pretty good with a occasional glitch but if your on LTE you can expect delay or poor network connection that might reset because you are viewing Thur Ezviz server , if you call tech support and ask about this they Will immediately fault your Internet connection no matter how fast it is. So let's remember this is a $206 on sale with good Quality 1080 P HD viewing or replay can also capture video and pics so for the price this is a 5 star rating without the price I would rate at 3 if you want better be prepared to spend a lot more , overall I'm very happy with this purchase

I bought this product about 2 years ago, since the beginning the phone app is never reliable. the video freezes all the time. image quality and night vision are average at best. i have all 4 cameras hooked up, 3 of them are protected by an overhang 1 of them is not and exposed to the weather. the 1 that is exposed failed after 2 years, these cameras are supposed to be weatherproof but evidently they are not. i called ezviz and they said i am out of luck because they only give a 1 year warranty. so now i have to buy a new camera for around $60 and i am sure the same thing will happen down the road. not good customer service or product quality in my opinion.

Like all the other reviews I can confirm setup is a breeze. You can have the system operational to the point where you can see, record, and review video on site without a single problem. The software on this product though is very, very basic. Remote viewing, e-mail alerts work with the app you download to your phone however to make that work you must get the DVR to go online. The DVR will get an ip address but to get it to go on the internet is a mess. Their support will tell you when you call that getting the system on the internet is a problem and requires you configure port forwarding on your network router to work but doing so also opens a hole in your home network security. So you get a home surveillance system for security but to do that you have to make yourself and you personal information at home vulnerable if you want the remote capability. Google it, you should never under any circumstances open ports on your router as it exposes you to vulnerabilities that may leave you getting hacked. For the price though I will keep mine so I can view footage in case on an incident but I will likely supplement this system something else for the alerts. This product is only half as good only because only half the features really live up to the claim.

If you buy it make sure you test it on the bench before installation and before your ability to return it expires. I bought one and took too long to test it and found that it doesn't work right. For one, it won't let me set the admin password and the Ezviz process to send a GUID file to support for reset has been tried twice and doesn't work. Second, when I attach the DVR to my home network (direct to router) the DVR will repeatedly crash and reboot. I regret not testing it as soon as I got it because now I'm stuck with a $200 door stop.

Read a lot of good reviews on this so I thought I would try it out. Disappointed the DVR had a hardware failure even though it was brand new. Could not get the unit set up because it kept rebooting every five minutes. Found out from another online forum that this is common with this unit. If you call the company they will admit that this happens from time to time.

I see it says 1 TB on the DVR but how long can it record? Can you save recordings?
