    Fantastic RPG

I'm a long time fan of the fallout series. I was super excited about Fallout 3 when that was released and burnt out my old computer playing that. This time around with Fallout 4, I got the game for my PS4. It is really fantastic. The systems i liked from the previous game (first person shooting, vats, open world) are all still there. The additions are nice as well (Settlements and the new skill system), but I feel some could be expanded a bit (I'm looking at you settlements). I like all the story arcs so far, and being able to collect all my potential companions in one place is really nice, but I feel like everyone who isn't a friend is automatically an enemy. This hasn't ruined the game by a long shot, but seems a bit off. Overall the game feels very nice, even though I've yet to actually finish the game (I'm 60+ hours in and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface). So this game has already earned enough game time to be reasonably priced. As an added bonus, my fiance started playing as well and is now 20+ hours into it and enjoying as well. So even better.

This is the first open world game in a while I can say I've just gotten lost in which has been great, 50 hours in and I want to keep playing more. If you dont like post apocalyptic games however this might not be the game for you. There are a few bugs here and there but nothing too bad, at least for me.

Fallout 4 is packed full of content that can easily provide you with hundreds of hours of gameplay in its base form alone. It is a vast open world game with crafting, building, and the ability to upgrade your weapons in many variations. This is a game that I do not regret buying, instant classic.

Yup, over 140 hours, and I haven't even finished the main quest line yet. I just enjoy exploring, upgrading my weapons and armor, and finding random storylines within the game. Yes, the game has tons of bugs, but it doesn't really bother me, and I haven't encountered any that broke the game.

Fallout 4 is a massive amazing game with so much to do and so much explore. They story is awesome and kept me at the edge of my seat all the way through. With so many different outcomes in its branching story I can see my self putting countless hours into this game and still not see it all.

This is my first Fallout game. After hearing people talk about this series for years, I finally decided to give it a shot. It was an incredible experience. The open world and outstanding gameplay made this game thoroughly addictive. I'll have to go back and check out the previous editions.

I am brand new to the Fallout series. Within the first few hours of game play I fell in love. The game looks amazing, there is an endless amount of content, and the story is fantastic. I only wish i had more time to play.

    Exactly what you expect

In the last decade or so, Bethesda has earned a reputation for creating expansive, immersive worlds to play in. They've done it again in Fallout 4. If you've played Skyrim or Fallout 3/New Vegas, you know what to expect. Fallout 4 raises the bar with two main innovations: 1. The crafting system, where you can modify almost every weapon or piece of clothing you can put your hands on, and you can build an entire network of settlements, building an entire economy. 2. The Power Armor. In previous Fallout games, power armor was treated more or less like any other outfit. In Fallout 4, not only is power armor harder to come by, you have to keep stocked with fusion cores to keep them running. Now, wearing power armor feels much more like you're in a walking tank. Yes, Fallout 4 is buggy. Given the size and depth of this game, some bugs are inevitable. But given the immersive environment and compelling stories, I'll gladly take a few bugs in exchange.

I have played fallout 3 and new Vegas so the arrival was well received for this game. I actually purchased a ps4 just so I could play this game. The upgraded gameplay is noticble. The minor tweaks such as the ability to use power armor from day one are nice, the fact that all weapons are 100% and do not need repairing to make them better and to maintain their functioning. Weapon and armor upgrade are as they should, you can add to your current models using workstations and scrap junk items this is how you increase the value and strength of your attack and defense. The ability to build settlements is pretty cool as well, creating a safe place for settlers is great because you make an easy place to find bartering and a spot to store anything you don't want to carry along daily. Overall do yourself a favor and play the game. It may take somebody who is not used to the ideals behind fallout to get the excitement the rest of us get but it will come.

    Loads Of Fun for $40-$60

Fallout 4 is full of features and stuff to do for $60 game. If you're new to the series like me then you'll discover the game play as fresh and different than other shooter type games. If you're a hard core veteran of this series then you may be disappointed in that not much has changed in the game play from previous iterations of this video game. In fact many Fallout veterans have expressed that they wished more had been done differently with FO4 but it's still a fun game to immerse yourself into. PS4 version is what I chose to play with and I haven't experienced any of the technical bugs some may have. If you're into modding then PS4 version is not for you, go with the PC version. Overall it's a very fun game if you like open world type games with guns and all sorts of crazy hijinks. The added music stations to listen to make this game enjoyable and different which is what I look for when purchasing a video game for myself.

I rate this 5 stars. Doesn't mean the game is perfect. Had few bugs but being fixed by developers until now. Awesome gameplay and freedom. Lots of things to do. Well worth 60 bucks. Buy it. It's different when seeing other people playing it than you actually playing it.

Wow, if you are looking to lose yourself in another reality this game is it. There are SO many facets to this game. You can build your own settlement from scratch or wonder the wastelands looking for hidden items. You could literally lose yourself for HOURS. I love it.

I am certain most people will love the graphics and mods that the PC version offers, but for those of us without a gaming rig, PS4 is surely the way to play this game! The graphics, controls, and just everything about it screams that it's right at home on the PS4 console. I compared side-by-side with XB1, as I own both, and to me the Ps4 version was noticeably better. Keep in mind I'm running the Samsung 55" 7000 series Smart TV (calibrated) so the picture is optimized to see everything. Gameplay here takes everything we loved about Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas and pushes it farther for an engaging experience not seen since BioShock Infinite, or maybe Mass Effect 2. This is one AAA-title you must own for the collection!

Fantastic follow-up to Fallout 3, minor issues

Fallout 4 is a fantastic follow-up to Fallout 3. It incorporates the best of Fallout 3 along with the best of its spinoff, Fallout: New Vegas. The addition of settlement building is a nice but unnecessary component, allowing for a refreshing break from the usual questing and exploring. The graphics aren't the greatest I've seen on PS4, but the amount of content and detail in individual aspects of gameplay (settlement building, weapon modding, armor modding, and, of course, Power Armor collecting) absolutely make up for that. If you loved Fallout in the past, you should definitely go for this! If you've never experienced Fallout before, it may be hard to jump into as there is very little hand-holding and explaining, a feature that was intended (Bethesda wants you to feel as though you ARE your character, trying to figure out the new world that is the nuclear wasteland of Boston).

I spent at least 70 hours playing this game to completion and was very engaged that entire time. The story did have a few lulls but, overall, was really compelling and fun. There few a few glitches here or there but new patches are coming out all the time.

Played Fallout 3 before; fallout 4 is exactly the same plus a few improvements than its predecessor. So far it is a good game. If you are an average gamer, you will spend several gaming days to finish all quests and missions. Not the best FPS but it is a good MMO game. You might encounter several minor bugs while playing the game, but they don't affect playability.

If your in to leveling than buy this. I can't say much other than this game is great. It may seem a bit different at first from classic fallout games like 3 and new Vegas but it's defintly a must have. Lots of content with exploration and survival.

Great game! This is the first of the fallout series that I have played and it's pretty sweet. Graphics are great, controlls work well for the most part, and the story line seems pretty ok. My only complaint is that they seem to focus on settlement building way to much. I've put in about 16 hours play time but only 3 hours on the story line. Stopped playing after that.

This game feels just like its predecessors, just better. I haven't experienced any glitches (this series is known to have its troubles) so that is good. There is so much to do in the game, it will keep you entertained for a good long while.
