I bought this game as part of best buy's door-buster for $20. Extremely happy with the open-world game play and it's engaging story.

Very fun survival based game. You choose your path vs being forced to play the game a certain way. Make your own decisions, you pick! Love this game

I have been a huge Fallout fan since Fallout 3, so I was extremely excited to get this game when I began seeing the trailers. I have already put 30+ hours into the game and keep looking forward to playing some more. Graphics wise the game is a bit unappealing considering this game is using a very old game engine. Still, the fun truly comes from the gameplay. The new features like the improved VATS system and how they created a more "FPS friendly" brings more life into the Fallout series and I welcome it with open arms. Overall, this is an excellent game.

Fallout is one of my favorite games of all time. Great story and the graphics are incredible. Recommend to everyone. A must play game for any gamer.

Bethesda did it again. This long awaited game is exactly what you expect from the Fallout series. Excellent graphics, customization, and story. 5/5.

I'm not usually a fan of RPG/action games but Fallout 4 has won me over. It's probably because of the story about the aftermath of a nuclear war but mostly it's about the main character searching for his son after he was kidnapped. There's also the twist of him being frozen and awakening after 200 years in a place called the Vault which was part of some nefarious plot. RPG games require a lot of time, patience and for you to be willing to search all the nooks and cranny's where items are needed to maintain, modify and construct weapons and other required items. It's not a game where you can beat it in a weekend and is like watching a TV series for a season or two. The enemies can be difficult to stop and require progressively more powerful weapons which you acquire after locating the necessary parts or receiving them from other survivors after completing their requested tasks. The game runs and controls smoothly on the XBOX One with a huge world to explore where you meet and talk to the survivors to get information about his kidnapped son. It also involves completing tasks to gain confidence and trust from the survivors who will help you after you assist them. You get a lot of game at a great price and is certainly worth a try.

This is a great game. You could easily play for over 100 hours. There are numerous factions you can join which leads to multiple endings and replay value. The load times are a bit of a bear to deal with. Besides that this is the next X1 game so far.

This is my first time playing any of the fallout series. I am still in the begining phases and am trying to figure some of the mechanics out. I think those who have played this series will have an advantage without undue experimentation. However, sense I am still learning things, like how to build and repair stuff, I'm spending lots of time to figure it all out. My first couple combat experiences were a bit frustrating, again trying to determine how to dodge/protect and get on target with my weapon. I'm trying to still figure out how to repair my armor. That being said, the world's been fun to explore the world with it being so open. The characters I've met so far help push the story along and give useful quests. I think this is worthy of the full price and am looking forward to many more hours of play time and exploring the world. Lots of fun.

So deep and complicated yet very rich and fulfilling when you reach whatever goals you set for yourself. This game is whatever you want it to be!

Only downfall to this version of the game is the drop in frames which is not even that big of a deal. Story, Graphics and Gameplay are amazing.

Excellent addition to the Fallout series. Easily a couple hundred hours of play through. There are a couple of small bugs, but no game crashers.

Another fun game from the fallout franchise. Graphics are amazing and gameplay is awesome. Huge open concept world allows many hours of gaming.

I'm 66 years old and have always been a gamer. I have played Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas including DLC. This game continues the series with new ideas and abilities. I have already played 250+ hours am on level 75 and still am enjoying the overall experience. Yes, there are a bunch of glitches, but it is still fun to explore and discover new areas. Gets repetitive at times but, no level cap means a little grinding is necessary to continue to develop you character. I still find new areas and places I have not been. Recommended. Game on.

While the game is quite fun, or addicting I'm not quite sure, the bugs and glitches really set it back. It's a well known fact among gamers that Bethesda is notorious for releasing games that are riddled with bugs, but after seeing a plethora of fantastic open world games with much more impressive graphics that had less glitches I'm disappointed at quality of Fallout 4. The world is huge, and loaded with random instances you'd expect to find in such a game, however, you don't know when you're going to die randomly or have the game crash or lose your saved data. That being said, I've had fun with it, just not as much fun as I had with the Witcher 3 or Metal Gear Solid 5.

For those of you who know what this is, you don't need my review! For anyone looking for a game to invest hours into, with endless story opportunities, and a crazy world to explore, look no further! Over 100,00 lines of unique dialog, side quests galore, customization for weapons and settlements. I have to say I have given dozens of hours just making a base look cool! This game is a great investment for your money with lots to do!

First fallout I have played, the gameplay and controls are a little differing from what I'm use to, but it's an awesome game with lots to do.

This is by far the best Fallout yet! Huge worlds, amazing graphics and an awesome story await you! You will not be disappointed by this game!

If you're interested in open world role-playing games then Fallout 4 is a must have. If you've played Fallout 3 or New Vegas this is a great continuation of the series. If you're new to the series it might be a little confusing at first, but quick internet searches will help you with any problems you may encounter. The new combat system is an improvement that combines RPG combat with FPS mechanics. Just doing side mission that came to me naturally and the main mission I've put in 80+ hours so you get a lot of content for your money.

If you want to have a social life, you probably shouldn't buy Fallout 4. But if you're willing to lose a couple of friends and stay trapped inside playing this amazing video game, you won't regret a minute of it. With addictive gameplay and endless things to do, I can gladly say I chose the second option. I may not have friends anymore or have left the house in days, but I have Fallout 4. Fallout 4 is love. Fallout 4 is life.

Excellent update to the Fallout series, definitely a different style contect wise but still excellent game. Major potential for the DLC's.
