A most play
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first RPG and after a bit of me getting use to the design I now cant stop playing. There are so many options and story lines to fallow. I have been playing for weeks and haven't even covered half of the map. you don't need to play any of the previous Fallouts to pick this up, I have not and I am not lose at all in the story. There are a few glitches from time to time specially with the settlement build but a system restart has already fixed them. I also found the internet to be your friend with explaining some of the settings and controls, specially with settlements and building. The game does not go into detail with how to do all of this. I also your suggest if you have a PC that game play this game then purchase for PC, that way you can take advantage of mods and that community.

Great game!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Open world, base customization, variety of enemies, looting and a decent story. Love the game. It's single player only but, you will spend hours playing. It looks great and the atmosphere is amazing. There will be moments when your palms start sweating and your heart jumps a bit. If someone you know wants this for Christmas I highly recommend you buy it.

Best Fallout to date
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a fan of the fallout franchise since Fallout 3. I really liked 3 and Fallout New Vegas for the open worlds and endless possibilities. However, the combat was difficult for me because it wasn't up to par with shooter games. Fallout four fixes that, improving the shooting mechanic and making it extremely satisfying. Add to that the brilliant color palette that for the first time makes a fallout game have vibrant colors and the ability to form settlements, and you have an amazing game. That doesn't even account for the customization the game allows for: weapons, armor, power armor, buildings in your settlement: all this can be customized. This game is a worthy seauel in the fallout franchise, and I think it is game of the year material.

Crawl out through the Fallout
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're into big adventure with a emphasis on exploration and combat, then prepare to sink hours of your life into Fallout 4. This game from Bethesda, makers of the Elder Scrolls series, gives you a similar gameplay with a whole lot of 50's era music and guns sprinkled in for good measure. Go explore the Boston area wasteland, chase down your missing son or even step into a giant suit of power armor and live out your fantasies as a tank on legs. The choice is yours so what's next, Wanderer? (Very fun game. 30+ hours in and enjoying every bit. Gameplay is not the tightest, but it more than makes up for it with a dense open world filled with enemies to crush and weapons to crush them with.)

Amazing Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never played a Fallout title before this one and I love this game. There are some references to the older games but you don't need to know anything about the previous games to really enjoy this game. I have already put 100+ hours into it and I am not even close to being done. This game is Skyrim with guns. Same depth and open world, same great character acting, massive amounts of quests, both side and main. There's building and crafting, exploring and looting. Your choices affect the story and your relationship with people and factions. This is a mature game so there's lots of language, drug use, blood and gore and violence, but it says that on the box.

Improving from Fallout 3
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comparing this to Fallout 3, which I still immensely enjoyed, Fallout 4 is an improvement and different enough from its predecessor to warrant purchasing this game. They've kept a lot of the good elements such as different companions, fun side events with their own story, and cool level up abilities while adding new things like creating and protecting settlements, bigger guns and armor, and a more in-depth crafting experience. Also haven't found many bugs and of those they haven't ruined my experience completely. I am about 20-25% through the main story though while exploring a modest amount.

Simply stunning
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had never played a Fallout game until after Fallout 4 was released. To get my feet wet, I picked up Fallout: New Vegas and put about 35 hours between side-quests and main story when I finally picked up Fallout 4. There have been so many updates and quality-of-life changes made to 4, that it felt light-years ahead of New Vegas. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay is exciting, and the story is compelling. I've put in almost 48 hours and am only about half way through the main story. There's so much to do and see in the Commonwealth and I highly recommend everyone check this one out.

Very satisfied

Best Game EVER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oh my gosh, this game totally rocks! I have been playing Fallout 3 with the same character for over three years and didn't think Bethesda could get better, but they sure did it. Fallout 4 has so many improvements and the reward is a rich gaming experience that is quite addictive. Modifying your armor and weapons is fun and I rather enjoy building my settlements. It's nice that your weapons don't fall apart (but your Power armor will need repairs occasionally). Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go search for duct tape and wonderglue.

Game Of The Year, For Sure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best Fallout, by far. It has a few glitches here and there but it's still one of the most amazing games I've played.

Best RPG to date
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never been a fan of RPGs and this is the first one I have bought since oblivion for the 360. I bought this on a recommendation and I could not be happier. This is by far in my opinion the best game of 2016 so far. The day I bought it I played for 10 hours straight and play around 5 or 6 every time I get on atleast once a day. All of my roommates have the game as well and it is the only game that is played in our house anymore. The story is awesome and you can never really run out of stuff to do.

Bethesda delivers again with fallout 4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.im a big fallout fan so naturally when I heard about the whispers of 4 I was ready to play it as fallout 3 is one of my favorite games. Lots of similarities to 3 so you will feel right at home. New weapons and armors and lots of loot! Biggest difference is settlement building - you can build a safe haven for people to go to - turrets, traps, towers, walls and growing food. Lots more my only disappointment is there is no weapon deterioration like 3 had and only power armor weakens with hits.

More of the same, which is a good thing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a big fan of the Fallout series and have played Fallout 1, Fallout 3, and New Vegas. It has the same addicting gameplay and engrossing missions as the previous installments, without the (in my opinion) unimaginably mind-numbing fetch quests of games like Dragon Age: Inquisition. Yes, this is a buggy game, like previous Bethesda games. Yes, you will occasionally have the game crash, but it's not often enough to diminish the fun of the game. If you love RPGs, this is a must-buy.

Great Game. Very Addictive.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this game. There is so much to do and find. If you like the Elder Scrolls series then you will love this game. I have never played a Fallout game before this but you don't have to. The stories really don't tie into each other. Graphics are really good but not absolutely amazing like some other games but you have to take into account of how big the game is. Load times are somewhat long but they don't happen often. Great game if you are looking for something to keep you busy.

What a blast!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a time sink in the absolute best possible way. If you loved any of the previous versions of Fallout, then odds are you will love Fallout 4. The combat system out of VATS is improved, the graphics are improved and the story is bigger and more complex than in previous games. I've been playing since the game was released and after nearly 2 months there is still plenty left to explore, blow up, collect and build. The story lines and possible outcomes are a lot of fun to play with as well. If you enjoy open ended game play and a huge "sandbox" to play in, then you can hardly do better than Fallout 4. - Oh....there are the usual game save glitches or clipping errors that pop up but hey!~ It wouldn't be Bethesda without them!

Alternative to Halo or COD
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best game I have every played. I normally go for Halo or COD but a friend recommended fallout 4 to me. I have played over 100 hours of this game and am absolutely addicted. The story is incredible, the graphics are unreal and I just cant put it down. For those of you who haven't played this type of game before, it is absolutely worth it and you will get so much more than the money to buy it. I can't recommend it enough. Definitely get this game

Buy it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really dig how it's going so far. The first part of the story was pretty intense, some may, call it slow, but if you're really into role playing story line it gives you a insight before everything goes wrong. They did a good job with the character creation. You can get pretty close into making yourself or get totally imaginative. I wish they took that a little bit farther in which you could modify some of the hairstyles, but youre stuck with what the Dev's gave you. Also be nice they also gave you the whole RGB for hair color. If you can, download the Pip Boy app, it connects easily and it's a nice way of seeing the map: local and world - along with setting waypoints, checking your status I've found it quite useful at least. Watch out for ghouls, I feel like theyre a bit more vicious, you're dog can at least drag them down for you, which makes them easier to kill.

If you enjoyed F3, you'll love F4
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.F4 builds on what made F3 great (a game which I played over 100 hrs) and adds more things to do in a new environment. Of course there are some bugs, but I have yet to own a game from Bethesda that doesn't have some. Fortunately they don't seem to be showstoppers (more funny than anything else usually) so for me it doesn't take away from a great game.

It's Fallout
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you love post-apocalyptic settings in huge open world environments with an overwhelming amount of options available to you then this is your game. You can build settlements, recruit companions, and absorb as much or as little story as you want. Previous games had pretty poor shooting mechanics so you would have to rely on a VATS system but Fallout 4 rectifies that by improving the gunplay. Good game is great.

Not a wife friendly game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is not very wife friendly as it is just too good and will suck enormous amounts of time out of any relationship, healthy or otherwise. I should probably give it just 1 star to do my part to help keep our social fabric intact, but life is just s omuch more fun trekking across post-apocalyptic landscapes and swatting giant, radioactive roaches.
