    Fun for the kids!

I have an 8-year old daughter. While I thought it was a stretch getting a game that is probably better suited for younger kids I couldn't pass it up for $7! Result: My daughter LOVES it! It has her up and moving and interacting with pets on the screen! I think it's appropriate for any age and is very, very cute! I have not played Kinectimals, so I cannot provide a comparison but it is definitely a great choice for kids who love animals and especially for those who would enjoy the creativity you can have with colors and patterns that aren't realistic that you can decorate your pet with! They listen to commands, they play games, the video makes it look like they are right there in your living room! It's great to see titles for the Kinect that engage the younger crowds!

    Kids love it!

Most importantly kids love it! Its a good story, but we have yet to figure out how to get more than one pet. My son likes dragons my daughter likes horses so they have to redo the pet everytime it is played. The multiplayer function gets confused alot so it is best as a one person game. The introduction is long and boring and I haven't figured out how to turn it off if you can. The difference between this and Kinectimals is with Fantastic pets you interact with your pet, playing fetch etc. With the other you are the pet.

My daughter (5) and my son (2) love this game! The characters are so cute and they love to control and play with them. I love it because it keeps them busy and active. If you are looking for a game for the little ones this one is a big hit.
