Customers are saying

Customers love the extensive gameplay, abundant content, and enjoyable crafting system in Fantasy Life. Many appreciate the variety offered by the numerous classes and find the game to be fun and engaging. However, some find the story and dialogue to be underwhelming and repetitive aspects detract from the overall experience for some players. The game's difficulty may also be a factor for some.

This game is great for people who want to explore the world, craft items, and fight creatures. I've owned the game for about a month, and I've already put 100 hours into it. One of the best games I've played for the 3DS. However, the story isn't that great, but I wasn't playing for the story anyway.

If you're into the Animal crossing and RPG type games you'll enjoy this game. You can buy your own house & decorate the inside. You can change your jobs which are called Life in this game. Gather items/materials to make items and level up your character while conpleting the crafting mini game. Do quests for the towns people. This game has a lot of side quests to do that you won't get bored. The reply value is awesome!!

One of the best games I've ever played

If you're a fan of Harvest Moon or Rune Factory, Fantasy life is like those games on steroids, without the farming. Choose from a series of 'Lives'/jobs, from fishing to woodcutting to hunting or sewing. There is so much to do in this game that it's difficult to even explain it all. Gather items, create items, hunt monsters, decorate your room, explore, and more. I've logged over 60 hours in this game and it's looking like I could add at least 10-20 more, and I haven't even beaten the game yet. It allows you to take your time doing what you want to do instead of pursuing the storyline head on and rushing to the end. Some of the jobs do get repetitive, but you really don't end up minding it, and it's not a requirement that you max out every single life/job; you can even choose to do just one if you want. This is a game rich in choices, and with the massive amount of content it packs, you'll easily find yourself playing for hours and hours.

This game has so much depth, I've been playing for over 100 hours now! I initially got it for my wife, but she loved it so much and wanted me to play with her that I had to purchase my own copy to be able to help her, too. It's been a blast. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves exploring an expanding world. Also, for those who loved Animal Crossing. Great game!

A soothing journey through a fantasy world, enjoying the experiences of both peasant and hero. Activities mundane or adventurous are all completed with a smooth and rhythmic combo system. An excellent choice for someone who likes the harvest moon/rune factory style of game, but wants a faster pace and more varied gameplay, with a skyrim-style crafting system to boot.

Fun game, but a bit repetitive

If you like Animal Crossing, Rune Factory, and Final Fantasy, then you'll love Fantasy Life. It's basically a mix of the three games. It has the graphics of animal crossing, the crafting system and fighting system are similar to Rune Factory, but the game itself has a final fantasy-esk vibe (note: early final fantasies, not later ones). The dialogue is a bit childish, but quite witty, and the crafting system is fantastic - but it can become very repetitive.

It's a lot of fun to go around and play Fantasy Life as a cook... or a Alchemist... or really any other of the professions available in the game. It's low key, with a simple enough story to follow, but enough exploration for a mobile game that has kept me hooked for about 30 hours of gameplay. I highly recommend you check this title out.

Fantasy Life is an amazing JRPG that has all the elements of Sims, virtual life and typical Japanese RPG. Been development by Level 5, one can expect nothing but spectacular graphics and cute cartoon characters. You can choose any career you want to be and free to swap to others to try out. Lots of fun and very child-friendly too!

I have wanted to try this game since it came out and I finally was able to do so. I have to say it's one of the best 3DS games out there. It's fun and extremely extensive. The amount of things to do in world will last you quite a long time and they don't get boring like a lot of other games. I really loved this game.

    Great Game, Weeks of Fun

I bought this game after watching half of a 7 minute review on YouTube. I'm a casual gamer, and I'm looking for fun rather than trophies or the chance to off my fellow player. This game is good for children and adults. You create a custom character that can change his or her career ("life") whenever the mood strikes you, and you retain all the skills you picked up in your previous careers, which you will absolutely need. Your character will level up and allow you to direct where you want your skill points to be spent. The story- saving the world from the falling doom stones- is interesting, with a cast of supporting characters with enough personality to be different but not overbearing. There are good guys and bad guys, but no one is malicious. I've played this game for weeks, long after I finished the story, just exploring the career options and picking up new skills, which is great because the villagers are constantly coming up with new requests for your character to fulfill. I've had this game for about a month now, and I still enjoy playing it.

This is a japanese style action rpg-lite with a cute story and chibi characters. There are a ton of classes and lots to do. Decent animated cutscenes. It is a pretty fun time with a cool streetpass feature that allows strangers to appear in your city and give you gifts. Overall a very good game.

I took a risk on buying this game since it never drops in price, and games often never live up to what we think they will be like. However, this game has delivered on all fronts! It's exactly like I imagined it was going to be. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I know there was Rune Factory that was toted as the fantasy version of Harvest Moon. But this game is fun with the different class/job options and available to switch and master each is appealing. I'm still working through the story which is a bit tongue in cheek at some stereotypical castings for characters. But it pokes fun at itself time after time which isn't over done at all.

If you enjoy games like Harvest Moon or Animal Crossing then you will love this game too. Has a cute appearance but don't let that fool you. There is a lot of gameplay and depth to be found here. It is a bit grindy like minecraft and WoW can be but the story progresses nicely.

I love this game! I was looking for something similar to Animal Crossing, and I found it! I was able to finish the main story pretty quickly, but there is so much more to the game. I will be able to keep playing for a very long time! Definitely recommend.

Fantasy Life is basically the combination of old school Final Fantasy and Animal Crossing. If that sounds good to you, don't walk, run to the store and buy this game. This game is packed with content and will keep you entertained for a very, very long time.
