Customers are saying

Customers love the extensive gameplay, abundant content, and enjoyable crafting system in Fantasy Life. Many appreciate the variety offered by the numerous classes and find the game to be fun and engaging. However, some find the story and dialogue to be underwhelming and repetitive aspects detract from the overall experience for some players. The game's difficulty may also be a factor for some.

It is kind of like Animal Crossing but you get to pick out a job, go to different places, fight new enemies, and meet new people. When you change jobs, you get to keep your old jobs and start racking up points and skills.

This is the game I have been waiting for... and in portable form, to boot! Whether you want something quick to do while riding the bus or you want to do an all-night marathon, this game has it. There are 12 lives to pick from with each having their own unique gameplay style. There are 4 combat lives, 4 gatherer lives, and 4 crafting lives. The gatherer lives collect the items needed by your crafting lives, and your crafting lives make the items your combat lives need to survive. You don't need to play each life to progress in the game. You can buy weapons, armor, and items from the shops in town, but they won't be as good as the items you make yourself. The graphics are about what you would expect from a kid-friendly 3DS game. The sound effects get the job done and the music isn't annoying, which is a huge bonus to me. Combat is simple and intuitive. I find completing some of the combat challenges a bit difficult, especially when you have a follower with you. It's not frustratingly difficult, though. The game world is large, with many towns and other locations to explore. You can also buy the DLC which adds higher-level areas to explore. I would recommend waiting until your character is a high level before buying the expansion, since it doesn't add anything to the lower-level game.

Anyone that loves Harvest Moon to Rune Factory will find a very enjoyable experience in Fantasy Life. It has RPG elements as well as Harvesting and Crafting elements and once you get rolling with it all you can do whatever you want on the fly. It's fun with friends or by yourself and can gives hours upon hours of game time.

This game is awesome. You wander around and collect stuff, similar to Animal Crossing, but you get to use all different kinds of jobs to do things. Cut a tree down as a woodcutter, and then change to a carpenter and use that to make a chair with the wood. Or go out and kill a sheep and make some fabric with the wool.

This is a solid RPG that gives you a chance to experience the game from different points of view. This is fun and unique but the game is slow and may not be for everyone.

This game is what I've been looking for to add to my collection of 3ds games. It's not overly difficult and you can live how you want. Changing between lives is not a hassle either. It's not completely easy either, perfect for beginners and experts in rpg type games. The multiplayer is super fun.
