I never played FarCry 1 or 2, but FryCry 3 was one of my favorite games on the PS3. FarCry 4 continues with all of the excitement of the third game with what seems like less story. I thought I was going to have to wait 30 to 40 minutes before I got to do anything, but you jump right into the action after about 5 minutes, which is a bonus for me. There's a few extra things from FarCry 3 in this game, but it's basically more of everything that was good about the last game, with better graphics. ( and elephants )

I love sandbox games and far cry has always been a large game with tons of hours for gameplay. Nice graphics and I enjoyed the story in this addition to the series.

If you enjoy playing far cry 3 this one is mostly the same but with improved mechanics. More weapons more stuff to do with friends.

I have this game for PS3 and PS4. The You can look at my other review for more details on the PS3 version which as far as gameplay is exactly the same. I will say I think the PS4 version has a lot more animals. My son plays the PS3 version most and when he watches me play the ps4 version, he ALWAYS comments on how many animals I come across when just roaming through the woods. My guess is this is due to the extra processing power the PS4 has over the PS3. This is a great game and I would highly recommend this to anyone who like the 1st person open world type game. It is very addictive and lots of fun.

Just a great game, the story is awesome and the free world aspects of the game are truly impeccable. Well worth the purchase

Great game and great price, especially if you have gamer club unlocked! You can play for hours and still have plenty to do.

I found this to be a very well crafted open world exploration game, with a solid main story line to lead you along if that is all you are interested in. If you are someone who likes to find every last item and delve into every spot on the map, then you well love this game. The map provides plenty of information to help you out without telling you explicitly "right there!". So you get hints without totally handing it to you. Great game and it is a must have if you get it below $20.

One of my favorite games from 4QTR 2014. There is some much to do! The action is fun and loved exploring the entire map.

I've really enjoyed this game & the valley of the yetis is great too. I'd buy this again. stunning graphics, solid story.

A little on the violent side in some areas but in general it is an action-packed fun escape-type game. You do not get tired of playing especially with friends.

This game looks beautiful and has an awesome story I never played any of the other far crys but I'm glad I played this one

The graphics are really good and the open world makes this game fun to play and keeps you busy for hours with different side quests along with the main story.

FAR CRY 4 If you like Far Cry 3 then get this. It's kinda the same, but much much better, especially with Xbox One.

If you like Far Cry 3 this is great. It plays the same, but with a bigger map, better graphics, and cool additions.

This game is big and beautiful. The amount of stuff to do and explore could take days to finish. The game offers a lot. It's graphics are solid, the music is great and the gameplay (FPS) mechanics feel on point. However, the story wasn't the greatest and some of the characters were forgettable. I think you may like this title if ( played co-op with friends), love FPS or simply tired of the standard run of the mill military shooter. Kyrat is different, not a conventional setting. Riding elephants and hunts tigers or summoning Tigers doesn't really get old.

Really fun game. One of the few games open world games where I never used the fast travel system. The little helicopter is just too much fun.
