This game has a fun twist putting you back in time, but I didn't find it as fun as the other far crys because of the limited weapons (but that's historically correct). Still a good game worth trying.

If you have played any previous Far Cry games you know what to expect. This is just more Far Cry but in a prehistoric setting. I wish the story was better, but this was still an enjoyable game.

No guns, but only primitive melee and short ranged missle weapons. A beautiful land to explore for a very long time. Thin on plot, but great on action and gameplay. Try this for something new!

Fans of the series will enjoy this game as well. The map is huge, tons of quests, and collectibles. The storyline is a little weak but the gameplay makes up for it.

The graphics and gameplay were just amazing. The beasts truly made the game. The story seemed somewhat shorter than the other Far Cry games, but still quite an amazing game

I liked it a lot good time waster tell the divsion came out a few weeks later my daughter is playing it now and likes it good change from guns and shooter up style

This is a change from the Far Cry series as you only have man made weapons to use in the game. Takes a bit to get use ti it but its worth it.

The series continues to be a solid game. Would like to see another Far Cry in this type of environment.....maybe set in medevil times....swords, bows, castles....

If you loved the bow and arrow weapons in Far Cry 3 & 4, you'll love this game. It offers a nice change in scenery and culture compared to games before it.

Even though the other games are from a different time period, Primal is an excellent game with new primal twists that are a challenge.

I had never played a Far Cry game when I picked this up out of sheer curiosity about the mechanics of getting to fight mammoths and ride animals. I've heard people rave about the far cry series as a whole but I wasn't sure if it was hype or not and figured this was as good a game to jump in and see as any other was. I fell in love! The open world is beautifully rendered and so much fun to explore as a caveman with primitive weapons and your animal companions. All the dialogue in the game is in an ancient language, but that didn't distract from the game at all. I found the story telling to be compelling and the characters so fun and engaging. I would always get excited to talk to them again to further the story and love that they weren't your typical tropes that you normally see in a video games. The fighting mechanics are easy to pick up. I got way too much joy out of taking out outposts with my trained bird, saber tooth tiger and bow and arrow without anyone even knowing I was lurking in the bushes. I recommend this game if you have or have not played any of the Far Cry series before. It's easy to jump into since the storyline is stand alone. I actually went and bough Far Cry 4 after finishing this one because I was so pleased with the play through experience.

Great addition to the franchise. Very fun but I got bored after 15 hours of gameplay, will most likely get better with more DLC added.

I've always heard that the farcry series was a good one but this is the first one I've played and I was very impressed with the game from start to finish.

Primal is a great game, has the Far Cry style to it but takes place 10,00 bc. weapons and clothing crafting is great too. Plus you get to ride animals.

This is a fantastic game. A nice change of pace for all the shooters now a days. The game is undeniably a FarCry game, but the change of setting is huge. TIP: Play with headphones if you have them, makes it way more Immersive.

A Far Cry like no other, but if you love the FC recipe you'll love this throwback to the prehistoric times of cavemen. You'll value fire, build shelters, hunt game for food and clothing, tame wild beasts and battle other tribes for supremacy in an open world loaded with danger and reward. Experience life as a caveman. Experience FC Primal. A beast of a game!

This is my first Far cry game purchase and I really enjoy this game. The graphics and characters seems so real and I'm so happy I purchased it.
