If you're fan of the game series..you'll be in familiar game play..doesn't have multi player which is a let down since 3 and 4 did and isn't quite as well done as those either..This is a good fun game with new experiences thrown in..just not crazy great like previous seems a little rushed on some aspects like map

A great game to play! My first personally owned Far Cry game. Really fun. Prehistoric setting is awesome!

I've been a long time fan of the Far Cry series. Both Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4 were gorgeous to look at and a lot of fun to play. The fast paced action combined with the role-playing elements have always been one of their strengths in making the gameplay both rewarding and memorable. While I enjoyed Far Cry: Primal, I do believe the last two versions are better for the simple fact that the action can feel a little slower paced due to the lack of guns. The rest of the game does a great job of making up for this with new animal companions and a very unique story line that would make any Ubisoft title proud, but it is hard to ignore the fact that their formula was nearly perfect before this game. Of course this is the ultimate catch-22, as if they just repeat the game in a new setting, people label it as "unoriginal and cheap", but I do believe that sticking with a certain level of familiarity is for the best. I do recommend purchasing it, however. Still plenty of fun to be had!

Awesome game. Graphical content is sick, game also has a lot to do so it keeps you busy for a while! Fun gameplay!

I love the Far Cry series, I thoroughly enjoyed 4 and was eager to play Primal. It can get a little repetitive at times, but there is something quite enjoyable about the primitive weapons and hunting with animals. It is a fairly good story and overall a good adventure

Not quite as expansive as other Far Cry games, but still felt like a Far Cry game and was still fun.

It's good for a far cry game thought it would suck but it's not bad it's pretty graphic wise.

I LOVED Far Cry 3&4 but Primal just isn't the same. The addition of taming animals is cool and all, but I want my guns and to not have to read subtitles when I play a game like this. Good gameplay, but I don't think this was a good time period to choose for Far Cry.

This is a true pick your own journey game. Lots of area to move around and find new things.
