The reason for buying a second power shed is that I tried to shred some documents that had a cardboard insert. This jammed the machine. My fault. Read the manual it tells what you can do and not do,

Shredder works well - does a good job, easy to operate and unload bin - the only negative is that the bin is a bit small to do a lot of shredding - finding that I have to empty the bin too often

Like the product but it had a tendency to jam even when feeding 3 sheets of paper at a time

Love the shredder, works great. I had shopped around before landing at Best Buy. The other shredders I looked at were either too flimsy or too heavy duty. This one is exactly what I needed.

This is the second Fellowes shredder we have owned.It worked well for several years shredding documents,credit cards,misc documents.It quit working when an overly ambitious shredder who was helping us burned it out by not stopping and letting it cool off for the time recommended by manufacturer. Can recommend this for normal household needs.

I love the crisscross shredding. The only issue is it fills the bin so quickly. Would be nice if they included a small tube of the oil as you wouldn't know to buy it at the start.

Great shredder for the money spent. Heavy duty motor, large capacity basket and not too noisy makes this my ideal shredder. I've owned several and this is the best you yet.

This is my second Fellowes shredder. The first one lasted many years and gave excellent service, so I was favorably disposed toward purchasing another to replace it. I don't do massive amounts of shredding so can't speak to its abilities on that score, but for the shredding of documents in a home office it is just fine.

Looked at lots of different shredders and decided to get this one. Really like the fact that it locks so little ones don't get in it.

THis is my first shredder. I like the crosscut action. It seems like the result is more secure. This machine will go a little beyond what the instructions say as far as materials it can shred. It can be messy to empty the bin because shreds of paper are on the underside of the cutter which is lifted off to empty the bin. If you are prepared for that, it's fine.

The shredder has no problems with anything I run though it. It doesn't have problems with credit cards or of course paper products. I am glad I found this product.
