It's not super powerful but does shred CD's and credit cards in addition to regular paper. It's little bulky when you have to empty the waste bin, so have some patience.

Great, Powerful Shredder

So I purchased a Fellows brand because they have a good reputation. But I have one problem with this shredder. It is very noisy.
