We made this purchase for our home office , it has not let us down shredded plenty of papers plus all just no mail and paid bills I love it works great!!!

This shredder looks intimidating, but I love the safety features, and the cross-cut action it gives. I might've overwhelmed it the first time around, but when I figured it out, and played with it a little bit. It seems to cooperate again. I love this purchase, would do it again, and it hans't bugged out on me yet, now that I know it's limits.

THIS IS A GREAT SHREDDER, IT IS FAST AND CUTS THROUGH A STACK OF PAPER. DEFINITELY NICER THEN THE ONE WE HAD PRIOR.

Was able to cut up credit cards effectively and several sheets of paper at a time which is very helpful for a small office. Couldn't be happier with my new shredder.

I like the way multiple sheets and credit cards can be shredded easily. I wish the container included to collect the paper shredded was able to hold more. Have to stop frequently to empty.

Good for home use, but it is a bit noisy. Shredded 2 years of taxes. Did let it cool off for a bit to make sure I wouldn't burn up the motor.

I love it. Heavy duty. It will shred multiple pages at a time. It will even shred old credit cards.

It had minimal usage - less than a ream of paper in a three week period before it stopped working. It over heated quickly - shredding 3-4 pages at a time for less than five minute periods.

I went through a few shredders before I found this one. It's great for the price and very easy to use. Highly recommend this product.

I got this to shred mail, medical bills, and miscellaneous documents with personal information and it works great. It is noisy, but that isn't a problem for me.

I might have chosen a different model had I realized that the actual shredder mechanism just sits on top of the collection bucket.. It sometimes won't operate after several attempts to 'seat' the shredder back on top of the collection bucket after emptying and there is no light or indicator as to whether you have it 'seated' properly. As to performing it's function - it shreds documents and credit cards very efficiently. Would recommend to a friend or relative; however, with a heads-up regarding the re-attachment of the top.

Glad I finally got a good shredder, had an old version of Fellowes but this is so fast and safe. Love the locking sysem

What else can you ask for when you get mail pieces that just piles up because of private information displaying. Just shred and dispose

Our old shredder had gone out after years of hard use, so we searched several stores looking for a replacement. We couldn't find anything we liked until we saw this one! It was exactly the same model we were wanting to replace! We had fully satisfied with the old one and liked it a lot better than the other models we had seen, so we decided to get this one again. We like the "sit on top" of the trash can feature of the shedder vs the now more common "pull the can out" feature. Rugged and dependable. Like I said, we got many, many years of use from our old one.

I've always been a fan of Fellowes shredders while working in a professional setting, but often thought of the product as being a little expensive for the home. After going through 3 shredders which have eventually broken down before its time, I decided to purchase a Fellowes shredder. I am very happy to finally own one of these and have experienced excellent use. I look forward to many more uses of this product.

Despite the fact several people have noted a leak that occurs and I experienced it myself 13 months after the purchase of my last one, I opted for this model again because I really like the flexibility of the Carafe/Cup/Travel Mug modes and the timer is very convenient. Also the automatic cut off eliminates the possibility of forgetting the warmer is on. The only model that has all these features at a respectable price. So far so good on the new one though it seems to take a little longer. I'd recommend it if those are your likes but also recommend extending the warranty as a safeguard, as I did this time.

works well. we had a lot of documents to shred and it worked very good for our home use. gave the machine a break after 5 min of shredding and it has preformed well for us.
