This is Miss Davis's movie. Although Denzel W. dominates the film as well as his relationships with his sons and wife, it is definitely her movie. A must see especially as a play by August Wilson and honored with a Pulitzer Prize. Took forever to become a film, but here it is for posterity.

I absolutely love this movie! Denzel was robbed and should have gotten the academy award for best actor by a long shot. This movie was just mesmerizing. It was an awesome movie! Highly recommended.

Viola Davis has been a favorite since I saw her with Tom Selleck in the Jesse Stone series. Academy Award winner! Danzel Washington is as always fantastic. Don't know how he didn't win the Oscar.

We really enjoyed this movie. It was funny, entertaining and sad. It could've been longer to fill in a lot of blanks but you could use your imagination. It was full of life lessons and parables.

My son wanted to see this movie because he had read about it in school. It is a great movie. It is very touching and pulls at your heartstrings. I most definitely recommend it be watched by all.

The beginning appears to have no direction and then all of a sudden you get sucker punched. From then on it commands your attention. You can't appreciate the beginning until you see the ending.

There is no better example of the powerhouses that are Denzel Washington and Viola Davis than this movie.

I will never forget this movie it touch me and my family in ways we will never forget. This is a great movie to share with your and old; its also a great movie to add to your movie collection.

I loved the movie. Denzel is a great actor and he can portray any kind of character. Viola is a great actress as well. The money that I paid for this movie was well worth it.

Fences shows great versatility and a roller coaster of emotions. The story is very well thought out and places you in a time where things are more simple yet also much more complicated.

Denzel Washington and Viloa Davis are absolutely stunning in this movie. And the rest of the cast was also great. Quite a change from the action movies I usually watch but well worth it.

Excellent movie in every aspect. Great characters, incredible dialogue, deep heartfelt story. Totally engaging and entertaining. Denzel as never seen before. I highly recommend this movie.

Wonderful movie should've won an Oscar Denzel great, Viola Davis wonderful. The movie took me back to a time in my life that I remember from where I grew up. A must add to your collection

This movie was beautifully told through cinematic excellence. I am not a Denzel Washington fan but I thought he and Ms. Davis had great chemistry and brought August Wilson words to life.

Denzel Washington out did himself in this film. His performance was exceptional! Viola Davis was outstanding! This was a great story told with superb performances...excellent production!!!

Denzel Washington deserved the Best Actor Oscar and FENCES deserved the BEST PICTURE Oscar. Enjoyed discussing this movie with the Best Buy check outs at time of purchase. They agree! : )

Denzel and Viola are a great team just like Dunaway and Beatty. Both were extraordinary as a team. I see why Viola own her Oscar just don't understand why Denzel didn't. A must be movie

Fences does an excellent job of demonstrating the culmination of family life, parental struggles, various marriage struggles, and the ebb and flow of a boy becoming his own man

I enjoyed the movie. It was not what I expected. However, I was able to follow the plot and make my on assumptions. One assumption I made was this movie hit close to home. This film speaks volumes of what African Americans and their families go through on a daily basis.

This movie highlights Denzel Washington and Viola Davis as two outstanding actors. It is definitely one of those feel good movies. Outstanding performances of all actors involved.
