Love the durability along with the convenience of grinding my own meat products!

This original manufacturer accessory is a good add-on for your Kitchenaid mixer if you're one who likes to make their own ground meat. Works well for pork, beef and chicken. Haven't tried everything possible yet, but it does work, but is kind of messy and uneven at times. Be sure not to press too hard.

Purchased for a gift. The seem to love it. Cant keep her out of the kitchen!

Works great for home meat grinding. I'll probably never make burgers from regular ground beef again. The best thing about grinding b your own meat is the ability to create your own custom blends. Beef chuck and bacon makes THE best burgers!!

Being able to buy roasts or steaks on sale and being able to make your own ground beef is a money saver! You can grind vegies and cheese which in convenient. I would recommend the Kitchen Aide Food grinder attachment.

Form, fit and function are very good. If we had a need for daily use I would purchase the metal version. It is easy to install and use. This is a nice appliance which is easy to store when not in use.

Ground thawed chicken breast with no issue. You have to give it a few minutes to filter through all the meat remaining in the tube but it gets the job done. It does recommend frozen meat but I don't cut my meats before freezing.
