I played with it, and liked it (it's strangely addictive). However, the ones I saw around at other stores were more expensive and only had a functional bearing in the center. This spinner is both high-quality, and still inexpensive. It has three functional bearings in the spokes as well as the central bearing, and is very smooth in operation. Obviously, this device serves no truly useful purpose, but if you want one for someone else (or, yourself)... then this is a good product at a good price.
