I went into this purchase hesitantly, wondering how much of an improvement might it be over Fifa 15. But playing a few rounds totally cleared my doubt with the super rich graphics and improved gameplay. Absolutely recommended!

The graphics and update from the previous version is just great

It seems harder to defend on this one. The attacking is more powerful and the dribbling is more insane. Defense doesn't exist anymore in this new version. It's fun but defending is kind of hard to control. Also the passing is a lot more difficult to connect. It's more realistic now. You'll actually miss a pass here and there. But I do recommend it if you are into soccer. Go Manchester United!

Overall the game is good and if you are on the fence about buying it, I would say go for it if you want a realistic experience but don't expect it to be fun all the time, as always the controls and dynamics can be frustrating. I'Il break down into the good and the bad. The Good: - the new training features in career mode where you actually play the mini games that would pop up before matches is a much welcomed change. - Addition of the womens team was done well. Although you can't play with them against the men's teams or in some online game modes it only allows these teams to be better enjoyed. - Dribbling the ball is more realistic than ever making offense more enjoyable. -Goals are much more satisfying albeit less frequent. Bad: - The game is much slower from previous titles. - Defense is harder to play than ever before, because its easier to dribble the defense feels much less effective, I often find that I should have taken the ball away easily and yet they managed to get away too easily - Unfortunately, slide tackles are still weak and nearly every player regardless of ability is able to stay up after being slide tackled. - Passing and through balls don't feel as effective and crisp anymore, often times I find the wrong person is receiving the ball or tracking it down. As a veteran FIFA player I know this is nothing new to the series but I feel that this year it hasn't been fixed yet although recent patches might have helped with this a little bit. - There is only one gamemode that isn't developed all the way for the womens teams. - The introduction of the new FUT mode is interesting but feels like EA is trying to charge consumers to play the game they already bought unlike the traditional FUT, to access this mode you need to pay with an excessive amount of coins or real money. This is a new trend in many titles and it is highly unwelcome. ( I paid for a full game and I don't want to be inhibited in my ability to play it without paying more money)

Better graphics and movement, shooting is harder, passing is more difficult but its a very solid version. The one thing I am hating is this: I play Co-op often ... I find it very silly that the colored triangle that indicates which player you are 'fades' as you use turbo. The triangle is small and you can lose track of which player you are controlling. Make the triangle bigger or let us turn off the 'fading'. PLEASE FIX THIS OBNOXIOUS ADDITION TO THE GAMEPLAY. Thanks.

With FIFA16 there are some minor graphical improvements, the addition of women teams, and the great variety of licenses and game modes the series is known for. However, with an overhaul to the passing system, as well as improved AI (especially the goalkeeper), some of the fans became divided on the game. In contrast to FIFA15, you can't just rush with a striker and score (unless you're playing on the lowest difficulties). This, to me, is a needed improvement as it calls for a bit more strategy when it comes to scoring. For those who have yet to play a game in the FIFA series and those FIFA15 fans taken a back by the new way to play, there is a fantastic training mode that will greatly help bring you up to speed. Lastly, the Fifa ultimate team is back and in my opinion, the most fun mode the game has to offer. I highly recommend this game to soccer fans as this game does get a lot right, especially in it's presentation.

Do you remember how Madden 09 changed the way Madden is played? Well, to me FIFA 16 is that reincarnation the series has needed. Gone are the days of PACE. You needn't worry so much about how fast your players are if you can pass the ball effectively. You don't have to worry so much about nooby players always playing through balls on the counter all game either. It's just not as much of an arcade sim as it's been the last few years. If you are having trouble at first, it's probably because you are trying to run too much or too far with one player. The defense will catch you. Learn to pass accurately and changing field is never a bad thing either to put your opponent off a little bit. All in all, if you've been sick and tired of the super fast players running away with games and feeling like there is little to no tactical advantage of strong/passing players this is the FIFA for you.

First the graphics are very close to real. It takes a while to learn how to pass and shot ol with accuracy but once you do its a wonderful game. Best soccer game I have ever played

After playing this game for about 20 hours or so at first I didn't like it. The AI was far superior on World Class and above difficulty and I felt the passing felt a little off and your players would constantly have poor first touches and finishing took a bit of getting used to. How ever once I changed the sliders slightly for both myself and the AI it made a huge amount of difference to both the flow of games and the difficulty is just right, challenging but not infuriating. I'd recommend people play about with the sliders until you find something you feel is just right. The presentation is great as always and the large amount of stadiums and teams keeps this ahead of the pack in my opinion.

I enjoy FIFA a lot but was disappointed by FIFA 15, the gameplay was okay but overall didn't enjoy it. FIFA 16 is a lot more fun, you have a new mode in Ultimate Team for tournaments that allows you earn great prizes for winning. The new Women's Soccer mode could have used a little more attention but overall a great additions given the amazing things women's soccer is doing today. Overall enjoy playing this and will continue to play this until FIFA 17 which I hope continues on this years features.

Each year EA makes the game play more realistic and this year was no different. More realistic game-play and improved graphics. Controls are the same but takes a bit of getting used to as passes need to be more accurate now and defending has become tougher. The delays in closing out of a game are no longer there. Much faster Menu response. Glad to see a Women's team option now.

Let's make something very clear, Fifa 2016 is a great game. It has got fantastic graphics, fluid animations, and responsive controls. The introduction of females is welcome and adds diversity to the roster. I just can't help but feel like I've seen it before. If you don't have an earlier version of Fifa, by all means pick this up, but if you're planning to upgrade from 2015, maybe wait a year. Or don't, it's your money do whatever you want with it.

Very realistic and customizable game play. Pick your favorite team, players and jerseys. Go for a slide tackle and watch as your cleats leave marks on the field. Time for a penalty kick...watch as the referee sprays the field in a perfectly imperfect arc. We love the realism. Puts you right out on the field. Great game!

Reality, graphics, this, that... I don't get why people complaint about everything. The game changed, YES... Like all years, however I play this a lot with my friends and I'm a huge fan of Career feature so for me this game is better than FIFA 15. Don't be closed mind and just enjoy the new stuff.

I've played FIFA games at friend's houses, but I had never bought one until this year. After playing this year, I'll being buying the game from here on out. The gameplay continues to improve and the addition of 12 Women's national teams is a welcomed addition. A must for any soccer fan!

This is FIFA. So you know what you are getting. The graphics keep on getting better. The game play continues to improve and Ultimate Team is an excellent game mode which I absolutely love!!! I love how EA has lighten the gameplay and the characters plus stadium look better than ever!!!

FIFA 16 is a great game that allows for tons of customization; players, formations, camera angles, even the game mode itself (season, career, fut, draft, etc.). Easy to learn and play at even the medium difficulty levels, anyone can pick up a controller and go, futbol fan or not!

I can't believe this games graphics & gameplay! It gets better every year. The addition of the Women's National Teams is an awesome feature to finally be able to have too. I mean, the USWNT is ONLY the BEST team EVER !!! Thank You EA SPORTS...Keep it coming!!

I have played Fifa since the 98 edition and this is another good release by EA. Although i don't have the same enjoyment of playing it due to the smarter AI. It is just annoying because they have made it like real Football, the other teams waste time and pass the ball to annoy you. But visually and with all the playing option, this game is as good as any.

Better graphics, have changed the gameplay from the previous release but fun once you get used to it.. The new skill moves are good but the passing and crossing have become more difficult
