Customers are impressed with the effective full-body workout this game provides, with many praising the quality of the training. However, users frequently reported issues with the game's responsiveness and control scheme, citing instances of inaccurate move recognition and unintended actions. The game sometimes struggles to register player inputs correctly, leading to a frustrating gameplay experience. Improvements to the control system are highly desired.

This will wear you out

Since you have to actually throw punches and kicks you won't be able to blast through this game quickly. Kinect does occasionally misread your positioning. You have to be good at blocking as well as throwing the right punches and kicks to score high. The opponents taunting is just stupid, really childish. I have a lot of fun with this game, I use it as part of my morning workout. If you are out of shape you won't be able to get past one round with this game and will have to work up to it. You can't cheat it with wrist flicks like WII, you have to throw the punches.

It's a start

By far, I feel that it's better then anything the wii has. However, the required stance is a little awkward and the moves are a little to preset. If you are someone who knows how to do spin kicks, it won't work; you have to use the move programmed in the game. When compared to boxing games on the wii, this game is still fun, entertaining, and a great workout. It's a good start, but it needs so much more.

This game is so much fun and a great full body workout. It will have you sweating and losing weight in no time. However, the game does miss some movements and sometimes slow with picking up movements. If they would fix that it would be really awesome. Also, it gets stuck trying to find you alot of times as well and we do not have this problem with any other game so it's not the sensor. Overall it is worth the purchase whether you like fighting for fun or working out.

I see quite a bit of reviews about this game that it doesn't pick up the moves very well. I understand why - you need to go thru the training step to work with the kinect sensor and how it reacts to your body movements to perform the moves. Once you do that and adjust according to the limits of the sensor, then will the moves follow your body motions. The junk thing is that if you study a certain kind of matial art like Thai Boxing or Tae Kwon Do, your techique might get compromised because of how they game is played. My 6 year old daughter actually did better than I did in defeating the computer opponent. The bad thing is that she started using the fighting moves against her younger sister. I decided to play this game on my own when the children are not around.

Not the best game, but one of my favorites...so far. I can see where some other reviewers are comming from with technical stuff like not keeping up with moves, but the moves they teach are the real deal. I remember doing the leg block in Kung Fu. This game WILL work you out! I feel the burn after playing for 30 mins, so that's why it gets my vote.

I know this is a first fighting game to come out, but for someone with martial arts experience I was hoping for a fight simulator like The Fight: Lights Out that's available for PS3 Move. Just like another reviewer said, it does not keep up with your punches or kicks and follows it's own routine. The graphics are XBOX-worthy, but that's pretty much it. Does give you a great workout, though. Hopefully a more precise fight simulator-like game will come out soon that would show the true power of Kinect. Until then, I'd recommend the Kinect Sports instead, much fun and very accurate.

This has got to be the worst game ever. The controls are aweful and there is no plot to the game or multiplayer.Seems as though it was rushed out the door with poor coding to hurry to get some sales or they really just bombed.

Game Needs A Lot of work

Been using this game with dissapointing results. Will be calling Ubisoft or taking the game back to the store. It cannot keep up with your moves whatsoever. Even if you punch and kick slow the game wants to do whatever it wants. Ive tried only punching in a fight and for some reason it likes to do flying kicks sometimes. The game is very hard to play for this reason. Would recommend holding off until another fight game comes out. I checked out the XBOX Kinect Calibration and it follows my movements perfectly. Bad Game, wish I could say differently.

Please finish the training before you fight.

The game is good. Some say unresponsive but no one tells you about the training sessions and info. Please finish the training before you fight.
YOU NEED to be at the appropriate distance from your opponent to perform certain moves. It says so in the training option, otherwise it won’t work. It is a great work out and you don’t have to be Bruce Lee to play it. It’s obviously modified so even people with no fighting experience could enjoy. Buy the game, support the new technology. KINECT!!!

I did work up a sweat...maybe out of shape. But the intro is long, the training is much too long. The game, once you get to it, is OK. The controls are slow, the graphics and moves are first gen Nintendo...that may be hash. I was hoping for better graphics and interaction.

A quick way to become a kicker boxer. i am 72 years old. If my egenerstion does not watch it with this game you will end up at the orthopods office. The graphics are terrific. the training is outstanding. the fighting is a blast. This game is a home version of a stress test.. the good thing is that you can pick your own pace. Good exercise, great fun and with a good diet watch the weight fall off.

The ability to punch and kick in this game makes it amazing. It is very similar to the fighting games you will find in arcades that do not require a controller. I don't understand the bad reviews the only issue for lag time would be the sensor not being adjusted properly. This game is awesome graphics are great. I spent an hour fighting and was sore the next day. You are better off buying this game then the kiddie sports games with horrible graphics. This game is the direction Kinect needs to go with real gameplay action. Definitley buy it and give it a try.

This game was fun at first, but quickly lost genuine interest. Continued to play only out of obligation for money spent.

I'm a black belt in taekwondo, and this game has absolutely no connection with martial arts at all. sometimes the game thinks my punch is a headbutt, and doesn't respond at all other times. Would be way easier with a controller, but is a good workkout getting terribly frustrated. Don't use with a nice TV. You WILL want to punch it.

The worst part about the game is the controls are horrible. The game cannot even hope to keep up with your motions. You might as well be flailing your arms and legs around wildly and would get similar results. Save your money and buy something else instead.
