SynopsisRain pours down your face as you pace back and forth along the gritty city docks. The cold numbs your fingers, but you clench them in a tight fist, like your father taught you, as you stare your opponent in the eye. It's a world where there's no switchblades or guns to hide behind. Powered by the controller-free technology of the Kinect sensor and the movements of your own body, the battle comes to life like never before as you punch, kick and even taunt your opponents in a brutal tournament as a fighter named Simon. Take on martial arts-trained foes in gritty arenas from urban rooftops to dark alleys, facing grueling environmental challenges at the same time. Choose your own path, your own unique opponents and your own rewards as you vie to become the victor — and a survivor — in this frenetic, body-encompassing fight to the top.

This will wear you out

Since you have to actually throw punches and kicks you won't be able to blast through this game quickly. Kinect does occasionally misread your positioning. You have to be good at blocking as well as throwing the right punches and kicks to score high. The opponents taunting is just stupid, really childish. I have a lot of fun with this game, I use it as part of my morning workout. If you are out of shape you won't be able to get past one round with this game and will have to work up to it. You can't cheat it with wrist flicks like WII, you have to throw the punches.

By far, I feel that it's better then anything the wii has. However, the required stance is a little awkward and the moves are a little to preset. If you are someone who knows how to do spin kicks, it won't work; you have to use the move programmed in the game. When compared to boxing games on the wii, this game is still fun, entertaining, and a great workout. It's a good start, but it needs so much more.

This game is so much fun and a great full body workout. It will have you sweating and losing weight in no time. However, the game does miss some movements and sometimes slow with picking up movements. If they would fix that it would be really awesome. Also, it gets stuck trying to find you alot of times as well and we do not have this problem with any other game so it's not the sensor. Overall it is worth the purchase whether you like fighting for fun or working out.

I see quite a bit of reviews about this game that it doesn't pick up the moves very well. I understand why - you need to go thru the training step to work with the kinect sensor and how it reacts to your body movements to perform the moves. Once you do that and adjust according to the limits of the sensor, then will the moves follow your body motions. The junk thing is that if you study a certain kind of matial art like Thai Boxing or Tae Kwon Do, your techique might get compromised because of how they game is played. My 6 year old daughter actually did better than I did in defeating the computer opponent. The bad thing is that she started using the fighting moves against her younger sister. I decided to play this game on my own when the children are not around.

Not the best game, but one of my favorites...so far. I can see where some other reviewers are comming from with technical stuff like not keeping up with moves, but the moves they teach are the real deal. I remember doing the leg block in Kung Fu. This game WILL work you out! I feel the burn after playing for 30 mins, so that's why it gets my vote.

I know this is a first fighting game to come out, but for someone with martial arts experience I was hoping for a fight simulator like The Fight: Lights Out that's available for PS3 Move. Just like another reviewer said, it does not keep up with your punches or kicks and follows it's own routine. The graphics are XBOX-worthy, but that's pretty much it. Does give you a great workout, though. Hopefully a more precise fight simulator-like game will come out soon that would show the true power of Kinect. Until then, I'd recommend the Kinect Sports instead, much fun and very accurate.

This has got to be the worst game ever. The controls are aweful and there is no plot to the game or multiplayer.Seems as though it was rushed out the door with poor coding to hurry to get some sales or they really just bombed.

Been using this game with dissapointing results. Will be calling Ubisoft or taking the game back to the store. It cannot keep up with your moves whatsoever. Even if you punch and kick slow the game wants to do whatever it wants. Ive tried only punching in a fight and for some reason it likes to do flying kicks sometimes. The game is very hard to play for this reason. Would recommend holding off until another fight game comes out. I checked out the XBOX Kinect Calibration and it follows my movements perfectly. Bad Game, wish I could say differently.
