A heartfelt comedy for wresting fans and non-fans!

I’m a wresting fan and a fan of Stephen Merchant, so when I heard he was directing a movie about WWE superstar Paige I was intrigued. Stephen Merchant and wrestling, wrestling and the co-creator of The Office, sounds like a strange combination. The result is a Rocky-like underdog story that is funny, heartfelt, and accessible to those who are not wrestling fans. Wresting fans familiar with the story of Paige may be annoyed by the compression of time and the liberties taken to emphasize her outsider persona, but nevertheless, Fighting with My Family is a great movie with great performances from the actors. The Blu-ray A/V quality is great and there is a fair amount of bonus features as well. The highlight is Stephen Merchant’s very informative audio commentary.

I had saw the film in theaters and what a major surprise the film was what i did not expect. This is one of the best movies of the year with a true story that is very heartwarming, as well as the comedy was spot on i could watch this movie with many rewatches, this movie is a highly recommendation and you do not need to get into wrestling in order to see this movie. however for those who love great story with a great message this true story will inspire you.

I’m an older WWE fan and women’s wrestling was pretty much a joke as a kid. Paige was just....different. She didn’t look like the others and the movie really does a good job telling her story. Paige is my fav womens wrestler and this movie does her justice.

A dramedy centered around the true story of siblings aspiring for WWF game sounds like ‘movie of the week’ fodder. And it is kind of. The charm of the writing, performances, and heart behind the characters makes this something a little more special.

I was very impressed with how well this movie turned out. If you’re a fan of wrestling or just a fan of a good Underdog movie, this is perfect for you!! It has a very good, solid cast with a great storyline to back it all up!! Great movie, and does have a few funny parts as well!!

I wanted to watch this cause I was a WWE fan for a long time. Unfortunately the superstars of today don't get me all hyped up. But I did enjoy this. Shows me how hard it is for these ladies and gents to be out on the road performing for us and putting their bodies on the line.

I wasn’t able to catch this film Fighting with My Family at movie theater so purchased the DVD. This film based on Paige chasing her dream is a great movie about never giving up. I like the extras and recommend this movie to my friends.

This is a look into what it takes to go all the way to the WWE. It doesn't hide what Paige and her family had to go through to make their dreams come true. I own this movie and I will watch it over and over. Gotta love the Rock and Vince Vaughn too.

Fighting with My Family is a fun movie with good re-watchability. You don't have to be a wrestling fan to enjoy the movie and the message it conveys. There is some cursing so maybe not appropriate for very young kids.

If you watched wrestling in the 90s this will bring back some memories. The Rock is good as always. Vince Vaughan is perfect as the wisecracking trainer. It’s just a good story with a balanced amount of seriousness and comedy.

This heartwarming family story is far from a Disney family film, however all the same moral values are just as positive and applicable in this poignant story of a one of the WWE’s most famous female personalities. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the movie but better enjoyed the director commentary, which actually had anecdotes about the movie and the film making process. Some of the other special features were weak and filler, but overall an ok blu Ray.

I really enjoyed this despite the fact that I have no interest in the sport. I think that there were parts where it could have been better in plot, but since it is based on a true story can't really complain there.

This is an excellent movie I have not seen for a long time. The wrestling is minimum and it is mostly about emotions, family, and decisions - very touching story based on a true story.

Even if you don't understand how professional wrestling is done in England this show will crack you up. Has a BIG role change for Lena Heady from her "Game of Thrones" days. Great cast overall.
