Getting ready for FFVII remake, although this was a good epilogue to the original game

I am a huge FFVII fan and enjoyed this movie for what it was; a spectacle without much substance. Just ignore the story and enjoy the action sets.

If you loved the FFVII game, this movie adds to the entire story line. Love it.

I absolutely love the movie. Kinda bummed that the digital copy was all in Japanese. But the subtitles save the day.

This the extended version of the movie, still cool and awesome to watch. Just getting excited for the remake to come out. Just a heads up, when i was browsing for this purchase, there was another FFVII that included a digital copy. However, the digital copy audio is in Japanese, not English, only English caption. This one does not have a digital copy.

Final Fantasy Advent Children was the FF movie that I, and I'm sure, many others, truly wanted. Although many FF games were rich with storylines, endearing characters, and sword and sorcery, Final Fantasy VII elevated the series with it's full motion video cinematic cut scene's, and stunning CD quality audio. The cinematic experience of the game seemed like the perfect transition for the franchise's debut on the big screen, however, we all had to wait four years after FF: The Spirits Within, to see that vision come to fruition. With that said, I'm still partial to FF VI (III in US), and would love to see a CG movie based on that entry.

Wanted to add this to my collection received it without damage. My complaint/worry is that I possibly got a resealed copy of the movie. I got the complete edition blue ray case like displayed, but it did not have the outer sleeve and did not include the digital download coupon inside. I'm unsure if this was a resealed copy of the movie (by a third party or maybe best buy to remove the expired codes) or if they sold multiple versions. Regardless I wish best buy would update the post to state this.
