Bought mainly as a birthday gift and ended up getting one for myself as well because I collect and the North American Copy is hard to come by.. They came in absolutely *wonderful* condition and were packaged very safely in a box with bubble packaging! Stark difference to the pressed in, broken, loose disc cases ive recieved in the past! Something has changed for the better and I will be back :))))

Are you an old person who's nostalgia for the past can't be satiated no matter how often you go to the well? Well this is the game for you! That being said, it's actually pretty fun. It's a shame that people who produce media aren't using their efforts to try to create something new. I guess the next generation will just be nostalgic for the cash grabs meant to placate us olds.

Easily the best game ever released for the PlayStation, if not top 3 with god of war and the last of us. Squarenix has set the bar so high for rpgs, it’s not even close for second place. The voice acting is amazing, every character feels alive, even the background npcs. Gameplay brings back atb gauge from 13, which adds strategy to the game, a feature I like. The graphics are top notch and mind blowing, the particle effects are simply beautiful. With the additional Yuffie dlc, the story gets more flushed out and another mind blowing ending that is sure to please fans of final fantasy.

Very fun game. Some strange or confusing elements, but very creative remake of my favorite all time.

I purchased this game on August 10th so I wanted some time to play it before reviewing. Long story short: It is a decent game, not bad at all. There were some elements that I wasn’t a fan of, but as a person who has been a fan of the OG version since the beginning I was not let down. I love turn based and action games even though I grew up with turn based. The fighting style of this game is not hard to figure out at all. You do have to switch between characters as you fight enemies because of long range or other needs. After some time you will get used to it. There are side quests that can leave something to be desired, but they are not mandatory. Graphics are amazing! This is only the beginning, but I highly recommend it!

Gorgeous and fun game that really shows some of the amazing graphical capabilities of the PS5. It's a shame that it ends right when the original game started to really get good. I hope in the meantime while we wait for part 2, they come out with more side stories like they've done with Yuffie's.

I like physical copies but couldn't find a new one anywhere.

Wow. It had been over 20 years since i last played the original FF7. Holy cow what an evolution. The graphics are amazing, the controls don't take long to master, and the classic storyline remains. I am looking forward to the upcoming Parts 2 and 3.
