an amazing remake for the PS4 and i bought the regular, steen book, and collector's edition

This ended up being my favorite FF game. I enjoyed the battle system and the characters.

I bought this solely for collector's purposes and love the art on this steelbook!

Stunning remaster of an already great game, and tweaks like the job system make for a deeper game and seemingly infinite replayability. Fans of the PS2 release rejoice, and first timers get ready: this game is a winning entry in the Final Fantasy franchise!

I had only played the original game once when it came out in 2006 but this improves it immensely. Besides better performance and visual upgrade, the fast forward is a godsend for a game which battles and exploring it's vast world could take a long time.

The first time this game came out I barely played it for whatever reason. And now I'm sad that I didn't give it more of a chance. However the upgraded visuals look very good, as good as you're going to get from a ps2 remaster, and the job system improvements were much needed to offer more character variety. I would recommend this to any final fantasy fan that skipped this one the first time around or just wants to replay it.

No one dies who is a main character. Normally someone ends up dying.

Played this game when it came out for the PS2 got far but didn't beat it. Get a second chance, now that the PS4 remade is out and it's amazing and the steelbook is even better then the PS2 one. P.S. Game is better then the FF XV

A lot of people may give this game a hard time because it is so Tactics like in presentation but it is an AWESOME game. Without spoiling too much, it's going to remind you A LOT of on of the best space epics of all time. BUY IT.

When I saw that BestBuy had the steelbook edition of this game for the same price as the regular version on other sites, I just had to get it. The steelbook is a piece of art and I love it. The game is a wonderful experience.

The steelbook itself has some of the best steelbook artwork I've ever seen for a game that has not only been remastered visually, but with a different playstyle than the original. Worth revisiting for any Final Fantasy fan.

While I don't always like the way Square Enix milks its franchises with remakes, this one, like the FFX remake, is actually worth the money. The graphics are nice and smooth, the game flows much better with the addition of turbo mode and having Japanese audio is a nice extra. The price is reasonable too, so if you never had this on the PS2 and you like FF then you should get this for sure.

A great remaster for a great game. Back when it was released, this game was considered the best of its kind. No reason to think that anything has changed since the remaster essentially improves upon the base experience.

A very well done and touched up classic game. There are still some things that needed work for instance some of the camera effects and motions are very blurry and outdated. You get all of IZJS content and some refinements to it, which is worth the price of admission alone. You also get access to new content, modes, and can now switch between two jobs. A very great game and nice remaster.

Definitely satisfied with my purchase, especially getting the limited edition steelbook. This is on the underrated final fantasy games which people might have missed . Luckily they have a chance to play this great RpG

If you love the Final Fantasy games then you owe it to yourself to get this one. The graphics are remastered in hd which greatly livens up the game. It's a fun game for old and new players alike!

My favorite in the series! Must buy for any FF fan.
