I bought this game and a gift for my boyfriend. He really likes the final fantasy series and this did not disappoint. He really enjoys it so far he has yet to finish it but I'm sure he will still continue to like it.

This game is a classic - updated for today's PS4 system, but not only with graphical improvements but entirely new systems and features not found in the original. If you love FF or JRPGs you should give this a try.

I never purchased the original release of FFXII, but being a fan of the series i had looked into for a while, but the reviews and the combat system kept me away. When they released this revised version i gave it a second chance. Its definitely not my favorite FF game, but its a good addition to my collection and enjoyable as well.

XII was a masterpiece back upon its initial release and this version not only brings us an update to its international Japanese version, but ups the ante with a series of QOL improvements, notably increased combat speed that helps the game feel like a breeze to play through, especially beneficial for busier players.

Excellent graphics. I'm not a Final Fantasy fan so the fighting system seems odd to play.

Great game and I love the fast forward feature. The license system is different and can be tricky to get used to but a cool change overall. It gives the characters a better defining role in your party. Love the game!

If you love Final Fantasy 12, You HAVE to pick this up!

The Zodiac system is similar to the “jobs” system of other Final Fantasy games, and really ties into the story nicely. Graphics are gorgeous, and much-improved from the original PS2 version. Highly recommended!

FFXII has always been one of my favorite entries in the series. The gambit system is something I wish other jrpgs would pick up and remake in some form or fashion. This remake holds true to the original while updating the licensing board with the Japanese zodiac age version of the game. Some may not like this, as it limits the abilities of each character a bit, and prevents you from creating nearly unstoppable walls by giving everyone all magic. But I like this - it adds some difficulty to the game and forces you to really think about how you progress through the boards. Other annoying things, such as treasure chests you can't touch until late game, have been removed. Overall, I recommend highly, especially on sale.

I played it years ago and I'm so excited it game back on the PS4. Graphics are still good, the gameplay feels smoother, just all around wonderful to play again. Beats the newest Final Fantasy by MILES.

This is how it should have been when it launched long ago. I didnt expect to like this remake as much as i did. Graphics and framerate help a lot. Has a semi "mmo" feel to the combat if you enjoy that.

i'm a hard core final fantasy fan, so my review could be a bit bias, but this version of the game is a good improvement over the ps2 version. but i can see this game does not have the appeal for non-final fantasy fan, but if you are a fan, even if you played this game before on ps2, you should get this definitive version.

I've been in love with this game since 2006 when it was released; this remaster Does. Not. Disappoint. I'm having more fun with this remaster than I did the original game, and that's saying a lot. 10/10!
