Im a long time Final Fantasy player, but this is my first MMORPG ever. I was highly overwhelmed at first with all the possible things to do, but that started melting away after a few days. If you want to get into duties/dungeons quickly, then i suggest the path of Gladiator, Marauder, or Conjurer...as the Thaumaturge, archer, pugilist, and so on have terrible queue times for finding a party. The PS4 version is graphically awesome. I havent had a single glitch/issue with this game besides the actual in game world maintenance kicking me out once. The PSN handles this game with no issue, and playing cross platform with PC and PS3 players adds lots of fun/possibilities. You get a 30 day trial with the purchase of the game, and then a monthly fee for a single character/single world is only $12.99 a month. You can save a few bucks by going for a 90 sub if you want. OH, IF YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH FRIENDS, YOU HAVE TO BE IN THE SAME WORLD/SERVER, OR YOU WONT BE ABLE TO.

FF is a nice game, but unlike other PS4/PS3 MMOs (DC Universe Online for example) it requires too many skills that are not easy to access when using the PS4 controller. Tanking is too difficult in this game and it is why most people play DPS.

Fans of the Final Fantasy series and MMOs alike can both find tons to be excited about here. FF XIV is without question the best MMO available for purchase across any platform as well as one of the best games available for the PS4. I've found this game to be friendly to all player types and play styles without too steep of a learning curve. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is on the fence. The only drawback is that the monthly subscription fee is a little steep compared to other MMOs but most players will certainly find it worth it given the quality experience that FF XIV provides.

the next generation of gaming for MMO fans. it is a step up from the previous reiteration of the final fantasy series for online play. still costs you a monthly subscription though. wished it was free online since we are already paying ps+. should be one or the other for network play

After a couple of days playing it, I found the game boring. Graphics are great, but FF XIV doesn't offer an impressive game experience after all. I definitely played better MMORPGs!

Entertaining, amazing graffix, story lines to keep ure attention for hours and hours,

the final fantasy series is GREAT! this game is gonna great with all MMO lovers but beware the monthly fee. I'm currently doing a 12.99 a month set up since I only have one character rather than pay a little more for 8. So that's a perk but again I'm only playing this now just to have fun and run around. Definitely great game for a beginner to the MMO game category.

I wish it lasted for forever sometimes. Everyone who has played it in my house seems to have enjoyed it, and I love that the kids are distracted.
