Totally worth the money, 3 great games and a very elegant pouch for your 3ds

The best thing about the special edition is that it comes with all games on the cart, no bothering with downloading anything and especially not having to wait for Nintendo to finally decide to release the third route. While there's both birthright for those who prefer the easier, more awakening style, of play, there's also the harder, more reminiscent of the earlier fire emblem series, style of play and then fates is a combination of the two. Unfortunately the game wasn't packaged well when shipped, Best Buy really needs to be more careful of how they ship things, especially when its with the more valuable collector's versions. Finally, the localization at times is a real head-scratcher, with changing dialogue into nonsensical ellipses and the like...

When I first heard that the new Fire Emblem would be split into 2 games, I was worried that the developer would cut corners with both stories to save development time. After reaching the end of Birthright at 80 hours and without even collecting all of the playable characters, I can safely say that $80 is a steal for both games, nonetheless with the DLC story as well.

This is a great set, since it has Birthright, Conquest, and Revelation on one cart. You play as the customizable main character. I recommend picking this one up if you see it.

Having both games on one cartridge, with the bridging DLC too, is the ultimate version of Fire Emblem Fates, and highly recommended for all fans of the series.
