Three Houses tells an interesting story that once hooked, will require multiple playthroughs to see the entirety of it. I put over 50 hours into my first game before starting a new path. There's a lot to read if you want to learn more about the characters but requires putting in the time and effort to train each one.

I know fire emblem from smash and I tried it on 3DS but couldn’t get into it. Fire emblem warriors got me a little more interested in learning about the series, but this game has had just enough more variety that I’ve stayed hooked it compared to 3ds. Looks amazing and tons of content without getting boring. It’s not for everyone but there’s a lot to enjoy.

There are many things to be said about this game, but simply put it is a bestseller for a reason. After completing just one of its multiple endings I can confidently say it has given a truly memorable and enjoyable experience. If the other routes are half as good as the one I finished I can confidently recommend new and old players try out this game.

I haven't played Fire Emblem since the Gamecube, so I'm a bit out of date, and there is certainly a lot new to me here to confuse me a little as a got started. But the game's pretty new-plater friendly, featuring a casual mode that eliminates the stress of Fire Emblem's permadeath mechanic (there's still a classic mode for people who enjoy that kind of thing) and several difficulty options for all levels of experience. The early battles can bit a little tough, as you are fighting bandits that often hit twice against your students who haven't learned any real abilities yet, but once you gain a few levels and everyone starts getting their classes the game becomes opens to more aggressive tactics. The characters, while not the most fleshed out of the JRPG slice-of-life sims I've played, are at least distinct and interesting enough to want to form bonds with. There's multiple story paths based on what house you pick, so the game's got a lot of replayability if that's a selling point for you.

Home console versions of Fire Emblem come out about once per decade. I don't know if it takes that long to make one, but oh boy is this game a masterpiece. Great characters, great story, tons of depth, tons of replay. If there is an ounce of strategist in you, pick this up and get excited about staying home all the time.

Looking back on the games that came out 2019, I think it's safe to say that Three Houses was my favorite. Everything from the story to the gameplay was engaging and the cast of characters in my house were fantastic. I cannot recommend this game enough, especially if you enjoyed previous entries in the Fire Emblem series.

Intelligent Systems really put a lot of work into making the characters develop and have hidden depths. Strategy is good, especially with the open-ended direction you can take your units in, but it's a bit too easy in Hard Classic, although optional paralogue maps and the late game ramp up the difficulty. There are three (four?) routes. In part 1, where you teach at the school, the story is mostly the same but the other characters have different comments depending on which house you pick. In part 2, the story and maps are very different from each other. This is a very meaty game. I beat my first playthrough in around 50 hours. There is a New Game Plus for more replayability. Highly recommend.

3h is a fun game. gameplay is easy. story is very simple and linear to follow for all three and i suppose; four optional paths. i dont enjoy the dating part of the game/series but it's there for anyone who is interested. would recommend to anyone looking for a simple rpg or if they're trying to get into modern FE games spoiler---- there's a whole debate on which path to play first and i advise to play on your own discretion without spoilers. there's really no specific way to play what route but if you want a general tip or my playthrough style; play in order of: deers -> eagles -> lions -> silver snow

I'm do not usually play tactical games but I do love JRPGs. This game is a wonderful mix of both and I am already playing through it again so I can see a different story path. Game easy to get into and spent way more time in than I thought I would. Really is worth all the hype if you like JRPGS or tatical video games.

This is an excellent game. It ramps up at a good speed, introducing mechanics at a pace that doesn't overwhelm. There are enough new features to entice longtime veterans of the series and there's enough meat here to satisfy anyone looking for a deep, satisfying strategy game. One of the better stories of recent Fire Emblems as well.

I'm not that far into the game yet. It is high quality and very polished from what I have played so far. It's a fantastic change to be able to see Fire Emblem on a large screen with better looking and feeling gameplay than past titles. Story is interesting and characters are varied while their quality is overall fairly consistent

This was a great addition to the series. I have been player the Fire Emblem games since they released in the states and this is one of my favorites. The Persona-style weekly schedule adds a new form of pacing to the series. Allowing for a strong amount of downtime but allowing it to fill constructive and interactive, instead of flashy filler. Each character feels personable and has the Fire Emblem draw that makes you want to keep them around throughout the story. Gameplay is both refreshing and familiar. Adding in the classic Fire Emblem feel with a splash of new dynamics, such as time manipulation. The story is fascinating and draws you in from the opening cutscene. Making you want to uncover the mysteries that the game has in place for you. Aesthetically, this game is gorgeous clearly, but the art style has a look that feel will last for sometime. It also gives you a strong Harry Potter vibe while at the same time respecting the roots of the Emblem series. I would highly recommend this game newcomers and veterans of the series. And don't just wait for a sale, if you can, of course. This game is worth every cent and every hour of play.

Solid gameplay, (majority) fun characters, and it's on the Switch. Exploration makes it sorta feel like an unpopulated MMO server. Otherwise, Fire Emblem is always reliably fun tactics and combat. May be a little too easy, though--probably recommend starting on hard, even if you're used to starting these games on normal.

This game is awesome! A perfect entry point for newcomers and also challenging enough for hardcore players. This game is packed with tons of content and is best played through multiple times. Hands down one of the best games on the Switch if you are looking for a strategy game or maybe even looking at getting into the genre

This game is a huge time-soak. If you like turn-based strategy games, you'll love FE3H. The story is great and the game-play is even better. Lots of replay-ability too since there are 4 total story-lines to go through. I've put around 150 hours into this game and I still plan on playing much more.
