This movie trundles along for its first two thirds and it nothing special. The last battle is the highlight, however. It lasts almost 20 minutes and is up there with some of Hong Kong cinema's best. Worth watching if you like Asian action cinema.

If you are a fan of Andy Lau and like the Hong Kong gangster flicks then this is the film for you. It's got action, a villain so heinous that he must die at the hands of the hero in a long, drawn out fight scene, twists and revelations. Adults or older teens only due to the subject matter.

This movie kind of reminds me of the Al Pacino/Robert DeNiro flick "Heat" but on adrenaline. The story is so over the top, it's hard to invest in the characters when you don't believe what is going on in the movie. The lead character seams more like a superhero than a cop. The damage he incurs could easily kill any man but he doesn't even flinch and continues on. I do have to say the action was impressive although unbelievable. The story is really secondary to the action and believe me, there are tons of action. It's good for one viewing but I will probably never pop the disc in my blu ray player again.

I been checking the trailer out for this film and it seemed okish. After watching it, it wasn't as bad as i thought. The story can be a little tough to keep up with but overall, wasn't a bad watch.

Pick this up randomly and watched it. Overall excellent. One slow spot but overall was not disappointed. The finale is explosive.

This is a good movie for those who like action and explosions. The sound effects are great.

This was another great Chinese movie. Other than it having subtitles everything was great.

if you haven't heard of Andy Lau, you better wake up! he always does great action flicks. do your self a favor and pick it up.

Honkong movie as its best. one of the best of 2014

I honestly don't know how to rate this one. It was ok...it is worth watching at least once I guess? It's a good watch to try to kill some time.
