Nearly every time somebody goes in there to take a shower the steam from the bathroom sets off the smoke detector. I wish that I had a way to move the wiring without having to hire an electrician! They really need to set an option in the app to turn down the sensitivity.

Decent replacement for Nest Protect

Like the interconnected aspect. Didnt realize hoe many features nest originally had i.e. night light, interconnected without red wire. These dont check every box, but most.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm sure this smoke and CO detector works well enough for it's intended safety purposes but as far as it being marketed as a Nest Protect replacement it's missing some of the convenience features that were on the Protect due to the lack of a motion sensor. I really miss the path light feature. Also the speaker on this pales on comparison to the Protect. Also it requires another app and account in addition to the google home account.

Seems to work fine but did have to download and set up an additional app - not a big deal.

Works with Nest

This fit the bill for me as it works with my other nest protects that havent expired and is aesthetically pleasing to me on the ceiling. So far so good!
