My Grandson loves the watch. We bought it for him for his birthday and he will now be able to keep in touch

Loved the watch design and UX. However, repeatedly we'd charge it fully, and it'd be completely dead after two hours of use. Will return it unfortunately. And bummed they lock you in to a subscription before you can even try the watch out to see if you like it.

Thanks for reaching out about your Ace LTE. Good news! You can use the device without an internet connection — you’ll need to subscribe to the Ace Pass to enable LTE connectivity. Here’s a link with more information: https://support.google.com/fitbitacelte/answer/14949765

It has some great features such setting goals and games for the kids- The battery life is not good- my kid could not even get through an entire day of school, and the battery was already dead.
Hey there, SusanW. We’re glad that you’re enjoying the features and goal setting on the Ace LTE. That being said, we hear your concerns regarding battery life. The watch is designed to last for roughly 16 hours. To save power and extend usage here’s what you can do:
1. Turn on Battery saver. 2. Turn off Always-on screen 3. Turn off Tilt-to-wake 4. Reduce screen timeout period

Not worth the money. I bought two of these for my kids, but the battery doesn't last for a full day, it overheats and shuts down after 10-15 minutes of playing a game, the face on one of mine chipped after two days, you CANNOT call other kids outside your family (even though it says parent approved contacts). Tracking is slow, and frequently doesn't work. Overall I am unimpressed and would not purchase this again.
Hey there, SudhakarV. We’re glad you’re happy with the Fitibt Ace LTE. That said, we hear your concerns about LTE connections issues. Here’s some steps to resolve the issue:
1. Check that the Fitbit Ace LTE can connect to LTE 2. Factory reset the Fitbit Ace LTE 3. Reconnect your phone and watch

I found this product to be very disappointing. While it’s marketed as a watch that can make calls, it charges the same $9.99 monthly subscription as other LTE watches but offers only half the functionality.
To make and receive calls from your child, you need to use a specific app. Additionally, you can only add adult contacts who have Gmail accounts, which excludes grandparents, teenage siblings, and many others. You can’t add neighbors or friends unless they install the Google app, create an account, and go through the setup process, which is quite inconvenient.
For $10 a month, you’re essentially getting a device that Google uses to increase its user base and track your child, family, and friends. Moreover, you are required to sign up for their subscription service before setup. If you accidentally subscribe for a year and decide to return the product, you won’t get a refund for the subscription.
Overall, this product feels like an overpriced toy with limited functionality.

Not a fan whatsoever, bought this to replace a verizon gizmo , the gizmo as a parent, I can assign 10 phone number who my kid can call and receive calls from. This junk device requires everyone to download an AP to call him and doesn’t have an actual number. It’s basically like getting a call from WhatsApp. Very inconvenient unless ONLY two people are calling the kid- mother and father.

Battery life 7 hours or less, even if you not used them.
Hi there. We appreciate your feedback and take seriously your suggestion. We design a fully charged Fitbit Ace LTE to last for more than 16 hours. Battery life may differ based on your usage, network coverage, or signal strength. You can save power and extend battery life by tapping the battery icon in Quick Settings. You can also turn on the battery saver by: 1. Long-press the top button, then tap Settings. (On some versions, swipe down.) After that, tap Settings. 2. Tap Battery. 3. Turn on "Battery Saver."4. Tap Ok.

The watches constantly glitched out, kids greeted with messages to factory reset and lose all their progress. It was a great idea, I think they should release the app for apple watch and let the world enjoy it.
