Nice slim design. Keeps track of steps but not heartrate. This wristband is helping me increase my exercise because I can see how much I have walked. I am enjoying this purchase. Nicer than the other brands. So far no problems. Easy to learn how to use.

Accurate, tracks not only steps but sleep. Motivates my wife to move

i really like the sleek design of my alta fitbit. it has the basic functions i want to keep track of my steps every day and the gentle reminders to get up and move. being able to view my progress on my ipad makes it the perfect fit for me.

Bought the Alta to replace an old Fitbit Zip that died. The Alta is much easier to wear, and I don't worry about losing it like I did with the Zip. The Alta also seems more accurate in counting steps, and recognizes my bike rides as well.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday, as she was looking for an upgrade from her previous activity tracker. The main requirements were water resistance, accurate step tracking, and ease of use. This tracker met all three of those requirements, and the only reason it did not get a five star rating is because it was difficult to get the tracker to sync with her iphone so that she would receive call and text notifications on the tracker itself. Other than that, we are happy with the product, and appears that it was a great value for what we paid for it.

The Alta is light on my wrist and I only have to charge it once a week! it reminds me to move since I work at a desk! I love that it monitors my sleep as i sometimes get insomnia and can see patterns over time. I'm telling all my friends to get one!

Nice fit and Function. Stylish and Slim design. Serves its purpose

This works great if you're just looking for tracking your steps and sleep. The text notifications works great as well. It's slim and sleek on the wrist, even for those with smaller wrists.

I'm enjoying the Alta vs. my Charge HR. I prefer the size and feel of the tracker. I really haven't missed the heart rate with the exception of my weight training workouts. I don't receive the credit for those workouts as an activity although it's much more of an activity than the walking that I get credit for on the Alta. I also like the ability to switch out the bands which my older Charge did not allow. The other nice feature is the short version of a text message that scrolls across the screen. All in all, no regrets making the switch.

Bought this for my girlfriend, who gets a bonus from her employer for using an activity tracker and meeting goals. This works flawlessly for what she's needing, isn't "ugly"/bulky, and gives her all of the needed information immediately. She loves that it shows her texts without needing the phone. I bought a Surge, and we compete for steps each day. It does not track stairs like mine, but she didn't expect it to. She also likes the ability to change the bands, which the Surge cannot do. She plans on purchasing new bands to use for different outfits. All in all, great investment on her part which will quickly pay for itself.

Bought this for my Fiance, she loves it. Not big into the Heart Rate monitor like the big bulky Charge, so we got her this one and it functions well. You get call and Text info and the standard Pedometer. Different type of charger than other Fitbits tho so be mindful of that.

Set up was easy just had to charge battery to full.easy to use

I wanted a smaller fitbit to track mainly my daily steps and calories burned and this one does exactly that. And, I love the fact that it monitors my sleep pattern and that you can purchase different color bands!

I bought this to track my steps after I got a dog. I wear it everyday and even sleep with it. It’s comfortable and fairly accurate. The battery life lasts a long time. I might get a new band only cause I want to change colors. But it’s great and worth the money. The app is easy to use and I love challenging friends!

Works great for me! Battery holds well for 5 days. Gives me steps and brings fireworks whenever I meet my goal! Feels good! Looks nice on wrist, not bulky and you can also get other bracelets for it to wear casually.

i like the fit and that it's not too bulky. It is much more stylish then my previous Fitbit. I also really like that it reminds me to move during the day and that I will get alerts from my phone.

This fitbit pedometer is an attractive watch as well as a spur to walk more, as you can tell it to remind you to walk at least 250 steps an hour. You choose the hours during which you'd like to be reminded, and this little gadget fibrates to get your attention and then gives you a message like "only 170 more steps" or "time to roll". If you wear it to bed, it will record how restless your sleep was, which is good ammo to have when you tell your doctor you're not sleeping well! This gadget syncs with both my phone and tablet, which is how you personalize your goals, get reports, and set alarms. I have the turquoise plastic strap (much more comfortable than it sounds) and the light pink leather strap so I can swap them out.

I love this product because it's small and had excellent tracking of all of my established goals. It's very accurate and the battery life is great. It doesn't take long to charge and it'll last for 4-5 days.
