The auto activity tracking also works well. The problem I had was the accuracy of the HR measurements, especially during intense exercises. All day measurements were fine - accurate to +- 2 bpm. While exercising, it could be off by several tens of bpm. With no option to link it with a chest based HR strap, this may not serve those who are looking for accurate HR measurement while exercising.
