    At first I was unsure about the change in the style of band. It is now secured to the wrist by a watch like band instead of the two pronged style that is used for the Alta. It's fine once you get used to the change. The Alta HR's band is definitely more secure than the original Alta. Overall the Alta HR is solid, reliable, and very handy. I have owned 4 versions of the fitbit. The charge HR and the Alta HR are my favorite.
