I previously had a Jawbone so the changeover to the Fitbit took a little getting used to. I wish the battery lasted longer like the now unavailable Jawbone but it seems to be the only drawback. I like the feature to see messages coming in on my IPad scroll across the small screen. It is a good “watch” and the incentive is there to get on a better sleep schedule and to walk a few more steps when prompted. Overall, I really like it and just got 4 new bands for Christmas.

This is the 2nd fitbit I owned, and I like the steps and HR tracking function, but it suffers from the same problem as the first one I owned...syncing is very finicky...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. This day and age, syncing should be perfected...these types of QC issues are just frustrating, and because of this, I can't in good conscience recommend it.

My daughter loves this sleek Fitbit alta. It's her motivator.

The Fitbit Alta HR is the first fitness tracker I have used. I am still determining how useful it will be to me since I don't wear it continuously, and I have not used all of the features yet. The step counter was the main reason I bought it, but it does not seem to count all of my steps unless my arm is moving. So when I am pushing a shopping cart at the grocery store, I don't seem to be credited all of my steps. I do like the slender band and the app.

I love how this tracker can tell when I’m asleep and when I start my walk.

I have had no problems with it. My only wish is that they come water proof.

Wifey likes it but it’s not water proof. Which presents an issue. And swapping to the flex causes her to loose steps.
