I've tried the Apple Watch twice, but I just don't like the ugly look of smart watches. This Alta is perfect though. I can get all my fitness tracking, HR monitoring, call and text messages, and still wear my real watches.

Perfect if your looking for a small banded fitness tracker that doesn’t look like a watch but has the same features of a watch You can also get txt messages alerts sent to it via Bluetooth and it will even display the message for you

I bought this fit bit for my dad who walks a lot and wanted to track his steps. He has had some difficulty setting it up but he is not tech savvy. I suggest that someone set it up for their elders if they purchase as a gift like I did.

I wanted to make sure that I was walking enough during the day and that is the reason that I got a fitbit. I haven't used all it's options yet because I think it is a bit complicated to figure out and the directions are kind of difficult for me to understand. But, it seems to be working.

I love the new Fitbit - Alta HR Activity Tracker + Heart Rate (Large) - Blue Gray The only program with it is that I have to recharge it more frequently than the previous one I had. But it works wonderfully well. I enjoy trying to reach my goal and joining challenges from various friends.

Love love my fit bits! This was my second upgrade from the very basic one. I had and then decided to upgrade to the next for more functions and to be able to wear in the water.

I'm very happy with this purchase it helps me keep track of my progress and also my health. I do wish there was a manual way to update a particular day where you did not wear your Fitbit but still wanted to register your workout

This Fitbit does several things that is helpful; it tracks your steps, recognizes exercise, calories burned, and many other things. It even can connect to your phone and show you when someone is calling or texting you. This product is much better than other products I’ve used such like Jawbone.

I can’t say enough good things about this product. Also, highly recommend buying the protection plan. I had a minor issue with the product, walked into the store and within 10 minutes I walked out with a replacement!

I really enjoyed this product, mostly for its step counting function. Unfortunately, I noticed that many of my steps were not being counted. I finally figured out it was because I was pushing a shopping cart or stroller and since my arm wasn't moving, it wasn't counting these steps.

My wife had the old Fitbit charge before. It crapped out on her. So instead of going through Fitbit to replace it. I just got her the new Alta HR. She loves it!! The technology has gotten a lot better since her last Fitbit.

This one does not show my texts on my screen. I have the notifications setup but they still do not show and I would prefer them to. Otherwise Fitbit has always been great. I have upgraded when Fitbit puts out a new device and I’ve never had any issues as far as technology.

I like it better than the original one i had. It doesn't always record my sleep correctly, That's why I gave it 4 stars.' It would be great it they had more band colors to choose from since the band is detachable could be sold separately at a reasonable price. Also, a more petite band for women.

I love my Fitbit 2 Alta HR. It works incredibly well with my walking program app. I also enjoy being able to check on incoming text messages without taking out my phone. And it is very comfortable with a low profile.

I had the flex for years and was reluctant to switch. I love my Alta HR. I like that I can track cardio, fat burn and resting heart rate. It has all of the same features as my flex and was easy to set up on the app.

Bought it for my mom to replace her charge hr which falls apart since the strap isn't replaceable. The strap on the alta is replaceable which is a bonus.

I love my new Fitbit Alta HR. My favorite thing about it is the sleep tracker. The insights is gives are great. I also like that Iit reminds me that I should get up and move when I have been sitting for too long!!

Due to everyone wanting to save paper, all information is either on app or online. I just needed to know how to detach small band so large size could be attached for my husband to wear. Ended up doing live chat online which was fine but I’m a manual person.

Fitbit makes a nice product and I like the improved clasp from the prior model (actual watch clasp and not the pins of piercing). The HR tracking is also worth the extra expense - though I wish the text notifications gave you a little more than just the first 40 characters or so.

Had another Fitbit for 2 years and it still is working but has been thru much and love the concept. Easy app installation and getting all the programs working. Would certainly recommend to everyone! A great gift!
